Hi everybody,

Not much to show here. We really got lost in the game session and stopped taking pictures after the 2nd encounter. I was pleased with the added dimension that the DF stuff brings to the table. I'll get more pics for this weekend's game as it will have a big setup.

Here is the creepy dungeon entrance.

Sets:

Room and Passage Set x 2
Octagonal Room Set
Narrow Passage Set
Traps Set I
Cavern Set
Advanced Builder's Set

Pillars, pedastals and curved stairs
Some of the large individual floor pieces
Assorted chests and treasure pieces

On a related note, what do you guys think I should get next? I'm leaning towards picking up the two Wicked Additions sets or the Cavern Passages set. I'm going to buy in July as I need to pay off those Giants of Legend minis this month. :D

Rocksalt,

Nice setup, welcome to the boards. Now comes the fun part, all the little crap you need to buy to furnish the dungeons :)

Rocksalt,

For What it's worth, I Would Say The Wicked Additions are Fine and Worthy Sets... But if you Have Read Many of my Previous Posts you will undoubtedly have "heard" me State the usefullness of Extra Corners, 4x6 Floors, 6x6 Floors and 6" Walls... The Reasons are Evident I'm Sure But I'll state them again for reference, Quite simply these allow for MUCH faster room Building especially if you Set up the Dungeon as you go... That Having been Said, Price wise I think they are fairly reasonable:

4x6 Floor = $8.00
Corner Set = $12.00
6" Walls (2 sets) = $15.00 (Currently out of Stock on the Website)

But I am sure you get the Picture, you Get a Decent Sized Room with a Couple of Extra Pieces for around $50.00... But I think one thing you need to Figure out is rather You Prefer your Rooms to be unconnected by anything other than your Corridors, or if you do not mind Rooms Sharing Walls... Dungeons with Shared Walls are more Economical and More Compact, while those Connected by Corridors tend to have the Look and Feel of "Traditional" Dungeons... (Hey you Asked...<Grin>...)... Let us Know how it turns out... Oh and before I Forget, I Know that this Post was not about Products Other than DF, but Personely I Reccomend the MK Dungeons Accessories Sets I & II and also their Traps Set as Well... THese are Inexpensive and If You are Willing to Use D&D miniature Quality Paint Jobs (Actually a little bit better), it is a Nice way to Get a Few Extra Tables, Chairs, Pillars Etc... Not to mention the Really Kewl Spike Trap... Ok so that is my Less than Humble opinion on that...<Smirk>... Have Fun...
