Now that you have all played around with the RotA 1 and RotA 2 pieces, please let us know what pieces you would like to see in the RotA 3 Set.

Thank you!

Oooooh! I have some thoughts!

I'd particularly like to see furnishings -- a throne, arcane wizard tools, astronomy tools, and so forth. Some could be incorporated into the architecture, like a big sundial or pendulum calendar in the floor, like the Aztecs used.

A FOUNTAIN would rock. Something really special.

I'd love more sun motif stuff. The jackals in ROTA2 are nice, but they don't wow me nearly as much as the sun stuff. That's just so exotic and appropriate, creepy yet not overtly menacing.. a great look.

A mural, either on the wall or in tiles on the floor, that would be amazing.

A jagged hole in a larger floorpiece would be great, like the chasm piece in the floor set. Or just jagged edges with an actual hole so we can stack it.

That's all I can think of for now....

Uhm... some Accesories.... (ducks)

Not really sure, as a whole the two sets cover most of my likes in sets, long walls, big floors, lots of build options.

As i have moved away from passages this covers a lot of my wants with 1 an 2.

However if you went passages, then I'd have to say make some and an ABSII style conversion bits, but as it stand now that would be adding a lot of stuff. So I can't think of tons of stuff I want with a 3rd set, other then dressing and things to spark up the place.

Accessories...hmmmmm, there's a long list of items that can supplement not only ROTA sets but could be used with others. I would particularly like to have individual/support pieces that can be moved around...bookshelf, wizard room, blacksmith area, murals, stables, weapon's rack, village people, etc, etc. A lot of these items are extremly hard to find and they're usually unpainted. I know I'd buy a good enough number of these items, how about other's?

Maybe it would be cool to put in some wild growth/a jungle theme on the pieces. A bit like the entrance piece, that is realy nice. To do a hedge maze would be to much of a good thing. But more like weeds on the walls and traps with wooden spikes.
Also i would like to see more portcullis pieces, torches and loose walls to use as a crushing wall trap?

A special promotion with a little discount when purchasing one of each RotA set at the same time, for those of us that have been buying other things. :)

I agree with L about a large floor piece with a jagged hole, and a fountain. Both ideas seconded.

And with Crimlock about pieces that have some encroaching vegetation.

A floor tile that matches the top of the pedestals (white bricks), good for floor space and for daises.

Two crumbling wall pieces; one sloping down from the right, the other sloping down from the left. They can be put at the end of a wall, or next to each other in the middle of a wall.

A 6"x6" floor tile with a removable 4" disc, the sun-face on one side and a canine motif on the other. Satisfies fans of both.

Oh, and tiers. Pedestals 2" or 4" long (by 1" wide), and another (new) piece 2" or 4" long by 1" wide by 1/2" tall. Tiers allow us to make arenas, council chambers, theaters, lecture halls, steam baths, daises, etc. (Could also be used on top of water tiles to make bridges or piers.)

Well I hope to purchase an Entrance Piece if and when they become available.
1. A pool or fountain would be nice.
2. An ancient catacomb room with mausoleum type walls.
3. 6" sun and/or jackal arch ways
4. A 6" x 6" elaborate mosaic floor scene (ie., pompeii)
5. An ogre's Den type Astromony /alchemist room
6. Statues of ancient dieties

would like to suggest the following:

- 6" collapsed wall piece (so that you have a bit of wall standing left and right and a gap about 2 squares wide in the middle)
- 2" wall with secret door (so that everybody has the chance to get one)
- 4 squares wide stairs piece would be nice
- more pedestals, maybe with some cool carvings on the ousides
- 6x4 floor piece with a pool about 2x4 in the middle
- 4x4 floor piece with fountain
- 6x4 floor
- statues (danger they would have to be diffrrent, maybe only the pedestals above would be enough)
- 2 new rubble piles (for variety)

just my two cents

Here go my preferences:

1) I think it would be awesome to have deluxe marble railings like the ones in the MBS Expansion, but, you know, white ancient stone instead of wood. They would be very useful.

2) A white stone bridge like the river set but in return of the ancients style would be great too.

3) A ROTA Archway to continue the goblin wicked aditions + demon archway evil additions would be nice.

4) Floors with water canals and some pools and fountains (water is a must have in ROTA).

5) Then some accesories like like individual statues, a throne and more variety doors.

2 cents more, greetings!

I agree with the fountain. Plus like the idea of a bridge, it could be used for a terrain piece letting people know they are getting close to something if they pay attention to marking, etc.

A large 6X6 room piece like in the first set. Not sure how practical that would be though. Kind of get that with just the regular pieces.

Well got to go to work, I am sure it will be awesome what ever is decided.
