Set some edges in it to allow wooden floors to be inserted on top of the benches and you could have a flat deck... so might need some wooden "floors" of sizes other than 4x4.bernyleung wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 2:20 pm I think a simple modular longship could be done with 4 sculpts.
1 prow piece widening to 3 width (each end was symmetrical)
1 side piece, 1.5 width x2 length squares (reversible, can be used for left or right, with rowing benches)
1 narrow 1x4 piece "floor" to make a wider ship (reversible, no bench)
1 prow transition piece from 3 width to 4 width
This should cover most ship sizes from 60 through 120 feet (12-24 squares) long and 10-15 feet wide (2-3 squares with extra room for side curvature).
Sounds like a job for a thin piece of Dwarvenite-G. Would this type of flat deck work for a longship, though?
Maybe not a longship, but I was thinking of alternate applications... my thoughts were flowing a little differently... upon reflection what I was thinking would actually take a couple more pieces.bernyleung wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 2:54 pmSounds like a job for a thin piece of Dwarvenite-G.
