Pathfinder 2nd Ed DF pieces

We’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Paizo to create a series of licensed sets for Pathfinder 2nd Edition. The sets – four exciting new Encounters - were specifically designed for the inaugural module The Fall of Plaguestone.

Here's my pre-order:
Curved Cages Pack - Painted 1
Deadly Plants Pack - Painted 1
Thorn Walls Pack - Painted 2
Sinister Workshop Pack - Painted 1
Alchemy Lab Accessories - Painted 1
6x6 Forest/Mountain Transition Terrain Tray Pack 1

I was on the fence and almost got a 2nd Deadly Plants Pack. May have to pick one up at retail later (or in KS7 if they show up there).

I really wanted an entrance and exit to a hedge maze, so I got two Thorn Walls packs to get two thorn gates.

Holding off on mountain terrain trays for now - I think I have enough mountain floors. The transition tray is very appealing since I think it will provide a nice way to go from forest to mountains and can also serve as a vertical backdrop.

Usually there are big ones posted here.

Probably because the big orders we typically see are from people who buy a lot of DF each kickstarter and most of the pieces in the PF sets are from prior campaigns? I think most people on these forums either 1) own a lot of the pieces so only are getting add-ons, 2) spent a lot on KS6.66 and are low on funds, or 3) are saving what they can for KS7. I think the people who would be ordering more than all 4 encounters would be someone who is newer to the DF hobby and maybe doesn't know about the webstore (or the forum).

Here's my pre-order:
Curved Cages Pack - Painted
Deadly Plants Pack - Painted
Encounter Area 2 - Painted

MIght have added more, but waiting to evaluate KS6 first and then KS6.66 etc. They are kind of spreading themselves out here so you cannot knowledgeably make additional purchases to fill in needs/wants.

I preordered the bits. I already have enough of the terrain tiles.

I did not want the terrain trays.I have not made up my mind about how many I need.

This was a pitch to new customers. I would not expect to see many here.

I ended up going with:

• Area 1 - Glen of Mutant Plants - Painted
• Curved Cages Pack - Painted
• Alchemy Lab Accessories - Painted

Until this, I hadn't ordered any Dreadhollow pieces, so this is my way of dipping my toe in that pool. I have a good amount of those Monster Terrain trees coming, so I figure I can see how well I like the two sets together.

I put in a deposit for.

Area 1 - Glen of Mutant Plants - Painted

Thorn Walls Pack - Painted

Sinister Workshop Pack - Painted

Alchemy Lab Accessories - Painted

Like hunter_something I did not have any Dreadhollow pieces yet on order, (I liked their look but spent my funds on cavern items in KS6). I figure getting a Thorn Walls Pack also will allow me to use them as a entrance and exit to a thorned area. Sinister Workshops items are different from the accessories I already have so I just had to get them for creepiness. Half of the Alchemy Lab items I already have coming from Hags Den but I still wanted more.

I actually would have did a deposit for another Add-on if they have had an add-on for the mundane items in Area 3.

Oh and I should add that if DF would allow it, I would rather pay off my total bill for this now and be done with it. They can make the meager interest off of it for my piece of mind of not having to remember than I have a bill due in April.

During check-out, I realized these are scheduled to ship in March, 2020. I love the short timeline on this one compared to the typical KS!
