KS discount runs at around 10% give or take.

Some are discounted more due to possible miscalculations - looking at you Elevation Platforms!

For me the discount is ok. The main thing is the availability of what you can get. So many times after the KS you will have a hard time getting what you want again do to lack of restock or fast sells of a item.

The KS window is the easiest time to get everything you might want from that offering. Some items later prove to be very popular and sell out almost instantly if and when they even get restocked (Epic Stairs - looking at you!). So if your budget allows, go as big as you can, and benefit from the discounts and bundles that are offered.

If you want to see if it's possible to still hop on to the Caverns Deep wagon, I'd email customersupport@dwarvenforge.com; you might still get the KS discount -and- not risk having what you want be bought out instantly in the webstore later or not restocked. Some items can take up to a year to restock.

My focus for the KSers has also changed from cost savings to snagging the exact sets I want.

The first couple of KSers offered significant savings, so it made sense to go in heavy on the core pledges and light on add-ons (if at all). While there are still savings to be had (as noted by other posters), my pledge planning is based around balancing what I want vs my budget vs what I think will be easily available later. I'm much more likely to go lighter on the "core" pieces and pick up more of the specialty and limited pieces during the current KSers.
