All of the ones I have received so far have popped off.

It took me a while to even know what all of these metal plates at the bottom of my box were, because I was expecting a column with a finished top so that I could use them as pillars. Kind of a waste of potential. :(
Yeah, while this was disclosed a while ago, it is one of the things I feel sad that wasn't done. I would have loved to use them as pillars for a boss room in a cavern or something. But I'm guessing the hold just wasn't strong enough or something if the column had a dwarvenite end on it. Or it could have cost a lot more. I dunno.

Garden DM is on to something though; a small cap like we have for dungeon and cavern floors for the pits and stuff would be nice, even if it doesn't work perfectly with elevation.
The floor and one inch floor make good caps. I did not like the metal plate at first . I quickly realized I do not have enough.

I did not pledge for the short stilts. I need them :o A way to get more one inch floors would also be nice.

Ah! So we do have the cap I envisioned in the form of the 1" floor! Perfect.

Tale a few of those KS-2 floors and make (4) 1x1's out of each each. Viola ;)
Just need to trim off small lip on underside of each 1x1 (or do it before cutting into quarters).

Leaving untextured sides on two of the four sides. :( Maybe some piece have the talent to resculpture it... but I don't.

Hmm, on that note, does Green Stuff bond well to Dwarven Forge? I could see modding these pillars into large stalagmites and whatnot. I really don't need so many pillars as I can easily stack terrain trays on DOD 4x4 blocks or corner pieces.

Greenstuff bonds well to anything, except when you want it to ;)

Then I may have to try this! I'm already using it to make extra stalagmites on their own.

I will agree with the idea of finding a way to get more 1 x 1 floors. I'm finding that they are incredibly useful, even in just the few builds that I have done.

That said, I absolutely love the stilts, they are so great for using for elevation builds.

A kluge: take pics of other dwarvenite floor or wall top edges, color print, cut to dimensions of metal plate then glue on. From a distance it might look ok...
