KS5 unpainted
Please please please make sure that the KS5 tiles unpainted are the same Dark color they where in KS1 and not like the lighter color that is KS4. That way when we paint them they will match KS1.
Re: KS5 unpainted
You would think this kind of stuff would be a no brainer, which is why it is sad that this post is even necessary.
The other one that is frustrating to me is the size difference in pieces. I can't use KS2 rivers with KS3 pieces without there being a very noticeable gap after just 6-10 pieces.
We only care because we care DF. Don't take these concerns as bashing.

Excellent point.
Size. Color. All these things are important to maintain through the years. This goes for everything. The tint in the Olive paint should be the same when I buy more for KS5 as it was when I bought it for KS1.

I agree with color changes and had not known about the unpainted ksiv . I hope I can paint it to match my KSIII.

From what I have on hand, I think you'll need to probably base coat in a grey to get it to match 100%, but depending on your paint job you might be ok as I've noticed it's not terribly perceptible from a distance unless you're looking for it. I will say however the different colors of drybrush in the prepainted pieces are very perceptible.

This is one thing which is really unsettling for me. I spend a lot of my gaming budget on DF and expect to get a high quality product.
For example I'm going to using mainly KS3 battlements, if the color doesn't match that will be a huge bummer for me...
Has there been any comment from DF regarding the paint? It seems terrible from photos...

Here is hoping!!!!
I think I can work it out but I hope not to base coat, but sounds like I'll have to do my walls like that at least.

Here is a thread with a primer that nearly matches the original "dungeon gray."
