Little mod for Erinthor Mountain pieces to fit Dreadhollow Forest/Wildlands

Post by NiandoBG » Wed Mar 31, 2021 3:54 pm

Hi DF fans,

I had to use some greenstuff for a bigger miniature.
Due to the fact that I had a little bit left after filling the gaps of the miniature, I started to experiment with greenstuff and my Erinthor Mountain pieces.

The idea was to get them closer to the dreadhollow forest escarpments.

Not perfect but sufficient for me.
BTW: it was the first time I used greenstuff at all.

Those turned out great. Your additions make these better pieces - for pairing with forests. In fact better in general. Nice work!

Looks great, always love to see mods to create a difference. Always remember not to put lumps where things will stack, but it looks like your additions will be fine. ;)

Once you mod some, it becomes much less scary to dive in next time. A nice thing about straight green stuff on dwarventite, is that both keep that small bit of flex. I would pass on harder putty brands like Apoxie Sculpt for dwarvenite, but it does work well on resin D.F.

Looks great... the spaces in between rocks are great for adding moss, vines and the random twig/stick...

I’ve done something similar to this with both Erinthor and banks. Can’t have too much variety.

:D I expect to add some details to the Wildlands con-cave escarpments when I get them later this? Year.

Most of my modding here on D.F.' stuff is probably done. I can't afford one copy of this, let alone a copy to cut up. If I could get it in my hands, I would mod the hell out of it. :|

I think I've barely spent $600 combined over the last three KS's and just two sets of the arches in the last KS. So, not much and definitely not enough to mod any. Wish I could contribute to the deconstruction and reconfiguring, but alas it's not to be.

So, it always pleases me to see others chopping up this terrain. 8-)
Rock-On pacarat & NiandoBG and any other of you brave souls who continue the craft. :ugeek:
Maybe that should be Cut-On or Mod-On...?
