The resin should be fine, but the felt on the bottom will quickly start to detach from the bottom of the pieces as the glue dries out. Just make sure the resin is of course not placed in a way it can warp and it should be fine. I bought a collection from Phoenix that had been in a garage and it was good except for the felt; I had to reattach a lot of it with a glue stick.

Resin and Heat

Post by Arsolos » Tue Jun 25, 2019 10:19 pm

I recently moved to a new home located in the Southern California Desert. I store my resin sets in their original boxes; my plan is to store them on shelving in the garage. My only question is this: will the heat in the garage harm the resin? I know that it can soften and warp Dwarvenite so I'm storing that inside, but will the heat affect resin pieces stored in the original foam? Thanks!
