Received my two sets today. Only did a quick visual on a few pieces from one set and they look OK at first glance. The fountain is similar to the post someone did up-thread, so not sure if that's new the paint standard or what. I'll give both sets a thorough inspection when I get home tonight (and, who am I kidding, I'll be doing a few quick builds!!).

Mine were also in brown boxes, styrofoam interior, no limited edition slip.

Does anyone know if this means we exceeded the 1500 "limited edition" and the ones we received are a new "open" edition?

I don't mind either way, but am a little bummed if I was supposed to receive a certificate (i.e. "Set 932 / 1500") and didn't.

I wish the pics had a lot more color, personally. But I do understand glare.

I jsut did my order for two of the woodland sets and I really hope I am happy with them as they are my first big resin sets resin and I really hate to return anything.

Fun fact. in Japan people rarely return things unless they are broken. It is a very non-Japanese thing to do and my students are often surprised wehn I tell them how often Americans return things.

It turns out, I'm returning my Woodland Set. I sent them some pictures, and as I understand it, the set that I'm sending back won't be put into available stock, but will instead be personally reviewed. I don't really want to post those pictures here, they're gross.

However, I do really like the Woodlands Set, so I thought I'd set up my original with some newly painted (and dried) Water Tiles.

I believe there was a RoTA2 pre order special "ruined double door" as well. But it may not have been a freebie from preordering 3+ sets ... I think it was though, if memory is serving me correctly.

I have to wonder, I have 3 sets of the first run limited to 300 sets. Does anyone recall what was the bonus piece for those? I can’t remember. Was it the little fountain/birdbath piece?
If I remember correctly, there was no special incentive peice for pre-ordering three Woodlands sets. In case anyone is interested, the 3 set preorder incentives were:

Return of the Ancheints 1 gave the specially painted 4 way intersection
Return of the Ancheints 2 gave the secret medallion door wall
Cavernous River & Walls gave the Door Rafts
Cavernous Lake set gave the Blowgun half submerged Lizard men
Hellscape 1 gave the Teleporter floor peice
Ice Caverns gave the Ice snake
Mideavil Building Set 2 gave the shutters

I think that's all of them.

And they are once again "in stock", if anyone is still looking.
