Could someone please explain this to me.

Great builds RB, just goes to show you don't need a garage full of pieces to make a great build.

I have been trying to keep track of painting my DF tiles recently to get a better handle on how much time it takes. Castles go quick (Hellscape and DreadHollow tiles take time...lots.)

Fiddler on the Rood reference and I believe RB does in fact have a garage full of pieces since that is the space he was allocated.

It's the main character in Fiddler On The Roof. ;)

Watched it about a month ago. "Tradition!!!"

I only buy unpainted, so... :?:

EDIT - When I started typing this there wasn't an answer yet. My damn internet is so slow today it took 8 minutes to post that text above... EIGHT &%@#$ MINUTES... Those picture on the KS I posted timed out three times. I'm going to come back later tonight, this has been crazy slow today.

Sorry Z, I meant the top part of his post regarding double everything due to a painting muck up.

They had a batch of crenelations where the tinting was off. It was pretty noticeable when you had parts side by side. SO they got the factory to remake them correctly and have a number of packs that come with a bonus pack of properly painted pieces in Addition to the ones already in the pack. So if you pop one of those BotM into your cart, you can see all of the "bonus" packs you also get to address the factory error, IF you get the painted version. If you order the unpainted, no bonus packs are included since there is nothing wrong with those.

A couple of photos to show the difference. The "bad ones" have a greenish hue to them, rather than the castle blue.

From my understanding, the factory messed up the paint jobs on a whole order of castle builder, so they sent duplicates with the corrected paint job. As a result, for that lot, DF is sending out the duplicate bad paint job along with the correct paint job for all painted orders of those pieces.

Correct me if I got it wrong

Cheers Z. Yeah just had a look. Even with those packs, fully painted so close to a new KSer is too rich for me. But at almost £2,500 it is a good price.
