Crafting ideas

<t>I am considering making some things to go along with my DF game tiles whilst waiting for them. It occurred to me that one way to make realistic looking stone walls without sculpting on a large surface would be to use stone effects spray paints.<br/> <br/> The challenge is figuring out how to crea...

Re:Kickstarter Game Tiles Map Maker is Coming Soon!

<t>That is awesome news. I really hope we can exceed the 1 mil mark. I am trying to scrape together more funding to make it possible for me to increase my pledge while mentioning this awesomeness to anyone I can.<br/> <br/> I also had a thought for a really cool feature. I realize it might be challe...

Re:Honest Point of View

<t>Part of what I like about this company and several others involved in this hobby is that there is genuine passion involved. While the money is important for any endeavor, far too many are more about the money than anything else by far.<br/> <br/> I love to support companies that are about more th...

Re:East Asian style buildings Kickstarter

<t>While I want to see as many dollars as possible flow into DF's awesome kickstarter, this couple seems to have a pretty awesome product. I just need to find ways to be less broke. Maybe pimp my ogreish frame for manual labor? Gotta be someone around here who needs someone to move things that norma...

Re:Static Storage Solution: Steel Flat File Cabinets

<t>Thank you Biowizard, that site is fantastic! I also saw that they are willing to do custom work, I may have to look into that. Imagine having a rug with the heraldry of the kingdom that is the main focus of your campaign for throne room scenes! There may also be some tapestries whose art is publi...

Re:Static Storage Solution: Steel Flat File Cabinets

<t>There are some nice ideas in here. I am currently using massive file folder cabinets from a business that went out to store some tools. I am thinking of converting them to storage for my hard push into the miniatures and terrain hobby.<br/> <br/> I do have an off topic question for Biowizard; can...

Re:Thoughts on how to Paint the new Sets...

<t>I love the suggestion to use the moss from a craft store! I feel ideas that are three dimensional and textural like that add something special. Another thing with the moss is that some of it is stiff enough that you could make it into a drape for the wall segments. That would afford you the chanc...

Re:I am a long time fan...

<t>Awesome! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions Stefan. I have been spreading info to my network of gaming buddies (some of whom are not so in the loop these days). Hopefully a few of them will jump in on this wonderful opportunity. Thanks again for both the new product line and ...

Re:KICKSTARTER STRETCH GOAL REWARDS

<t>I think everyone has made some excellent points. In several posts I have seen Forge folk have expressed a need to be cautious with bells and whistles to ensure that the profit margin stays healthy enough to allow for future awesomeness (that should be a word, but Webster's doesn't agree with me)....

Re:I am a long time fan...

Thank you both for the warm words and the information! I am excited about both the con and my upcoming game tiles. Is there any possibility there will be game tile prototypes or examples on display at the con? Awesome as the videos are it would be really cool to see some in person!
