What I meant was: cavern color pieces will be cast in grey, so no need for any special tretament or priming, hence I don't see why painted costs so much more.

Painted cost more because painting the orange black before it is dry brushed will be an extra step may be two. If it needs to be masked that is two more steps. I think $60 would be fair.
