Re: Starforged for Fantasy

Looking closely at the images in the "parts log" they published, the Barricade looks like it could support either flavor at least somewhat. The Rusty Metal is easy, the Stone is possible since most of the details are something I could see carved into stone, and the exterior sides really lo...

Re: Talk about the new GF Starforged Campaign

And I notice price was the biggest complaint over on Dakka Dakka when I posted about the campaign. Well isn't price the most frequent "excuse" used to not get DF stuff. Nothing new there. It is top-of-the-line terrain, with excellent versatility, incredibly durable, and not hard to paint ...

Re: Another use for Starforged

Interesting observation. I am sure if anyone who gets these tiles tries, they can fit them into almost any setting they want to with some justification. The biggest thing might be the paint scheme that is used for how versatile they end up being. The Factory scheme has some definite bias in settings...

Re: Nemesis map

Well I seem to recall that the DF team was able to build their version using just the tiles in the Large bundle so that is a good start. That floorplan map will be very useful for anyone who wants to build that replica. The cool thing about deep space ships is that they can really be almost any size...

Re: Proof of Concept - Temple of a Thousand Secrets.

Holy smokes, the little free-standing terracotta tiled shrine is neat. Is that a custom part you made or where does it appear, since I seemed to have not seen it before. I do have some similar things from TableTop World Graveyard campaign resin models, but not like that. TTW Graveyard 03.jpg I think...

Re: Floors... the rarest piece?

Did I dream there was a spreadsheet??? I swear to God, Dwarven Forge created their own this time, but when I went to look for it, I couldn’t find it… I have faith in the community there will be a spreadsheet ;) Tyler did create one, and there was/is? a link in the GF comments section that I had not...

Re: Spreadsheet

Cool, I was looking for one and Tyler (DF) had put together one that was shared in the GF Comment section, but I have always liked the ones users create better since they tend to focus on our needs better. Will let you know of any issues (or differences) I note.

Re: Floors... the rarest piece?

Well the Alpha Core Mega set does have 8 2x2 floors, 4 1x2 floors and 2 2x2 trap door floors. Maybe that gives you more of what you want.

Re: Starforged for Fantasy

We've got a laundry list of compatibility shots we want to grab, in basically every biome. Started shooting some of them yesterday so hopefully we'll cover everything you want to see soon! Great, those would be wonderful and give a lot of folks more incentive to take the plunge if they see how the ...

Re: So expensive :(

Thanks for the preview. The floor height/thickness will probably be the main issue folks encounter I would think.
