Re: Rock Breaker Bill's Not-So Ancient Stepwell
I've the same sentiments as everyone else. This is epic on a scale I've not seen. So much is going on and there are so many clever ways you used the various tiles and such. The whole thing is a visual masterpiece, with everything coming together perfectly and nothing looking out of place. You are a ...

Re: Organizing My Magnetic Bits
I posted this to FB, and Animesensei suggested I post it here. I was cutting the bottoms off my coffee cans, figuring I'd find a use for them... and then I ended up reorganizing and getting annoyed with this: 20190908_201941-1008x756.jpg So, I decided to do this: 20190908_182546-1209x1612.jpg You c...

Re: Traditional Tudor Look
What about using the upside-down balcony piece to support weight? You have it making a roof, but what about supporting a floor? I know the big overhang is still there though. That would totally work, but I just want an excuse to make some more beam looking pillars that can remain in place and look ...

Re: Traditional Tudor Look
Good to see you back Josh - love that build - buildings have so much more character when they are not simple boxes (sorry Mies van der Rohe) everything gets more interesting when we exploit all three dimensions Still think we need these: https://dwarvenforge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3897&...

Re: Traditional Tudor Look
Thats a big old house, with all those roofs bet it weighs a bit too. Liking the overhangs and the various uses of balconys - cunning :) I want to get two terracotta roofs cut in half so I have four halves. Then I can build the 4x8 attic in place of the center roofs that are upside down. I'd also li...

Re: Revolving room & Sewer sets from Kwarp (french artist)
Those are some nice pieces. I love all the little details. The rotating room gives me a use for this piece that I pulled from somewhere and have been sitting on.

Re: Traditional Tudor Look
Fun experiment Josh, remember these I did after KS? The only pain in cutting them is the gable end walls are much thicker than the roofing areas. Can't wait to see the new pin and interior. :) Yes! I did remember. They are my inspiration for this build. Now I just have to clear space around my band...

Traditional Tudor Look
I've been wanting to build a more "traditional" Tudor looking building so I used the 2x4 stone floors from the Castles KS to get that smaller bottom. Front 20190911_194017-1008x756.jpg Front - Other Side 20190911_194035-756x1008.jpg Back 20190911_194201-756x1008.jpg I thought it'd be fun t...
