Re: Fog Monster 2 + Terrain Kickstarter
I also have a Fog1 and pledged for the Steam Pods. I don't like the fact that they are starting this campaign (and probably ending it) before delivering their previous project. Not that I don't trust they will deliver, they did the first time around (even if the shipping was very messy, I was asked ...

Re: ROW shipping
Hey guys, I also received my (small assortment of) Dreadhollow today, and I really like it. The only thing that I am missing, as of now, are the paints. I don't see them in the list of "still missing" pieces, did they say anything about them anywhere? If you are US, did you receive them? I...

Re: The future of terrain and DF
I'm also one who mixes gladly sceneries and tiles from many companies. DF ones are probably the best tiles, though some others are very close (but can't come close to DF for number different pieces and environments, and sturdiness of the material). For overground I use many other classical wargaming...

Re: Cave Cliffs and Erinthor Mountains
Just to say my opinion, I very much prefer the older "dungeon" scale, but this has to do with what I am most interested in with DF, and what I already have, that is: - dungeon and caverns (CD coming also - only the big tree tile in outdoor scale, I'll be using it with non-DF inch-size grou...

Re: How are people planning to vary their KS8 builds?
A game mat plus Erinthor plus scatter terrain makes for an adequately uneven play space for my crew. I'm also on this boat, game mats (or big terrain tiles) plus scatter are the way I like for outdoors. Fast and effective :-) Marco, how do you deal with dense forests then? The Chief Least Weasel of...

Re: Cthulhu Death May Die : Miskatonic in fire !!
A few months before they came out, I had seen some videos on youtube of a guy who suggested painting just like that, with a white priming, and just using inks or washes. I tried that, and it does work fast, and looks good, even if in my opinion the colours come out a little bit too "vibrant&quo...

I’m in for a village.
Will go half bricks (for a modern days game I am planning), half timber/ruined.

Re: ROW shipping
About EU I think that the point is simply that everything for EU barely fits a container, if any, so they want to ship it all together when it's all ready. So as to manage all the import documentations only once instead that in multiple waves. Asia, AU and NZ comes after that only because after the ...
