Re: Portcullis & Gatehouse Oddities
Posted this in error. This was supposed to be an edit of the previous post. Needless to say I messed it up.

Re: Portcullis & Gatehouse Oddities
It occurred to me that I should just open the back of the winch house to give a clear view... which of course led to a closer examination of other things... I partially mis-spoke above. First, the portcullis slot. In the image below you can see the rungs for the portcullis to sit on. They are more e...

Re: Cavern Assortment Set
The unpainted and painted sets have a different composition if you look at the walls near the top. I think it's an error in the graphics. The parts lists are identical. And they match the Stretch Goal parts list as well. They must have laid it out incorrectly, or received a box that was mis-packed.

Re: Portcullis & Gatehouse Oddities
I don't know how to post pics, but Talistran above shows exactly what I needed to show. Look at the photo directly below his comment: "Then I put the arrow slit in the back" You can clearly see the Portcullis Slot directly below the Winch. He could not raise the Portculis in the build he ...

Re: Portcullis & Gatehouse Oddities
Here is a link to a post where I did an alternate build of the gatehouse as you suggest, using the Stone Advanced Builder set. http://dwarvenforge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=8249&start=100#p112630 I had issue with the tall posts leaning outward so something might need to be done to help ...

Cavern Assortment Set
Has anyone noticed that the store now has a "Cavern Assortment Set?" It looks like it is the KS2 Stretch Goals Pack!  Painted: https://shop.dwarvenforge.com/collections/caverns-painted/products/cavern-add-on-set Unpainted: https://shop.dwarvenforge.com/collections/cavern-unpai...

Re: Stretch goal stuff
Yes.
The GC comes in a large box with 14 smaller boxes inside. Four of those 14 are Stretch Goal boxes.

Re: More build questions for those with stuff in hand
So - would the corner walls work to fill that gap under the CBS pieces? Is there a way to use the inside corner, turned around? Or just another outside corner (which I wouldn't have enough of, unless I used pure CBS towers on 2 corners, giving me some extra castle corners to play around with....) I...
