Re: Talk about the new GF Starforged Campaign
I sure hope dwarven forge isn't the tesla of gaming terrain... I wasn't expecting these pieces to rust within a year lol As far as cost, I think the scifi pieces are near 3x what the jade temple was based on coverage? It has been quite a jump and has probably priced out a lot of potential buyers. I ...

Re: So expensive :(
Some things like shipping are unavoidably more expensive, but other things like biscuits, remote controlled color changing LEDs and pieces with no dead sides are design changes that have increased the cost a lot also.

Re: So expensive :(
Cost is definitely a factor for me, and I do feel pretty strongly that the paint jobs should be high quality considering how expensive the pieces are getting. I feel like the paint quality has been slipping lately, which does make me very reluctant to buy in.

Re: Share your pledge
This is what I'm targeting - total cost would be $4028, but as a triple landmark pledge it comes to $4079 with some extra sets. Skipped all the cobblestones/battleboards/terrain trays/dirt/elevation/dark roofs and stayed with pretty much core pieces and decor. If I like the roof biscuit system once ...

Re: City Builder Basics seem larger than Dungeon Pieces?
I have always thought the KS3 scale issue was a mistake and not an intentional choice.
If they intentionally decided to go from 25mm to 1 inch, that would be pretty insane.

Re: Harborrabbits' Hut
A fair amount of folks over on Discord had been flaming against KS3; saying that it was obsolete, blocky etc. Those comments have been the most confusing part of this KS for me. KS8 and KS3 are totally different styles and don't overlap at all except for (arguably) the basic 4x4 wood floor. How can...

Re: Gothic Lanterns
I like them, but I think in my initial draft $4k painted pledge I was getting 13 so they seem pretty plentiful. I haven't seen any Discord chatter about them specifically.

Re: Cobblestone battleboards worth it?
I have two sets of streets and I think I am skipping all cobblestone stuff and probably sea walls as well. I don't like the 25mm height because it requires a battle board to use. I can replicate the look with stilts, a terrain tray, streets and either sewer or dungeon walls. The ramps don't look gre...

Re: Unpopular opinion corner: KS8 is.. surprisingly MORE affordable than I expected?
I am planning to avoid sea walls and battleboards, most fieldstone, dark roofs, the two basics sets, probably the urban elevation, and will limit myself to mostly 1 of each set other than those I think.
Not sure what else to start cutting outside of all that.
