Re: KS Fulfillment getting closer!

I would rather have flat, large, sculpted tiles like the mountain tiles over battleboards. I can see me changing my tune if they can somehow use their new terrain tray overlay thing to make large "resin-ish" looking water tiles in a 12x12 option. And -THEN- I could use my banks and be happy with ne...

Re: KS7 Wildlands IMAGES COMPILED

But its more ammunition to the DF armoury, and not for everyone. DF are trying to expand their customer base, so they need to try new things. Can't keep re hashing dungeons and caverns. 1000000% agreed. I am 100% ok with DF trying new things. Some people might want those things... hell, I MIGHT wan...

Re: What‘s your first impression of the new battleboards?

I don't know, there are 100+ posts from less than 2 dozen doofers in this thread and about half are cool with looking at them before deciding. There are about five or six very vocal and not all are against them. So I don't see the 'overwhelming negativity', even in this thread. But then I have rhin...

Re: What‘s your first impression of the new battleboards?

When Nate revealed the Battleboard on the twitch stream it was pretty well received, even if we did not like the grid. The Discord crew tends to be more in favour of them even if we did bitch about the grids. Concur 100%. DF seems to be trying to fill niches in the terrain market or create new nich...

[quote=Rhizom post_id=180393 time=1596836512 user_id=60938] It does not even look like a DF piece. It is not modular (or so it seems). It is not fitting any grid. It looks like Some other wargaming Terrain company. Therefore I bet it will not be in the KS. That will mak...

Re: Lava river through a forest gorge

That looks great Talistran. You've might have said somewhere else, but please share where you got those foam blocks. I would like some lightweight options for building up bulky elevations like that. Dice4hire sells them from Japan, shipping and all. He's here on the forum, just sent him a private m...

That will make some Doofers sad... I'll be sad for them if it doesn't show up in the KS.

Re: Most wanted piece?

Wally's coconut cream pie and I want the piece right now.  Wally's is a seafood restaurant in Des Moines, WA. Best coconut cream pie I have EVER had in my less than 58 years on this spinning ball. If you live up here, go get a whole pie, and come on by. ;) I may make a trip there som...

Re: Wildlands pledging and total spending

I won't answer until I see what is available. Negative terrain, wargaming terrain is a BIG miss with me... But we haven't seen much on escarpments or mountains or RIVERs yet... so I'm not sure in any way shape or form what I'll be spending. Put the right stuff in and I have no problem spending $10,...

Re: You can't outrun a magma river!

They won't match the beautiful 3D sculpted and painted forest tiles. They'll be brazenly different with significant border issues (look a straight line of grass). You could use banks to break up some of the lines (it is still repetitive), but then why use the elevated tiles. Don't get me wrong, I ap...
