Re: tabletopblacksmith KS boat, tree and more till Nov 16

I messaged him, this is his response to me. Hello Zach, yes unfortunately I had to file for bankruptcy but everyone will be getting their orders. We are still shipping as they print. Thank you for reaching out. So my guess is either 1) he's being honest and perhaps the BK is unrelated to the kicksta...

Jungle Kickstarter

I got off on a tangent on another thread and wanted to see if this is a theme that really has interest to us as customers. What would we want to see in a JUNGLE kickstarter setting? I think perhaps some of this may be covered in Wildlands, but until we see it, we don't know how much overlap there wi...

Re: DF to make one last terrain setting.

Regarding fleshing out the ideas, I think desert is one best done with a battle mat and scatter terrain for the most part. It's more of a small kickstarter theme. Sandstone sculptures, a pyramid, and then maybe some interior pieces would be the core. Jungles, however, are RIPE. Mesoamerican sculptur...

Re: Gen Con 2019 Fan Lunch

I was there last year. The coolest thing about the lunch is how unawkward it is. Most everyone knows each other already even though they maybe haven't ever met, and all of the DF crew are welcoming and fun. Everyone talks, shares stories, laughs, and has a great time. I'm sad I won't be there this t...

Re: KS 7 - Include A Much Needed "Wood Grain Set" Who Is With Me?!

I disagree. I feel they should have tried for 50mm instead of 1" with KS3/KS4. While historical sets have been above and below the line, it's a lot closer to the median than a 1" scale is. This is the biggest mistake DF made in the Dwarvenite era, in my opinion. (Paint mismatches are next) As it is,...

Re: Spill the Shields

They can just move the KS to the top row, the KS number to the middle, and leave the "backer" the same.

I want the KS 6.66 shield to be on fire.

Re: Stefan's new kickstarter

Although they share the same initials, the DF (Destination Fantastic) kickstarter is not a DF (Dwarven Forge) project. This is wholly a Stefan solo adventure - he's creating Destination Fantastic with his own independent team. All of us in the DF crew are busy with our heads down in Caverns Deep, H...

Re: Tree Houses

I'm ok if they skip tree houses, but if they don't, then maybe a compromise could be just ground-floor style houses where the entrance is through a trunk? I think the molds needed for elevated structures would make it cost a ton, personally.
