Re: Dreadhollow screencaps
Yet another Kickstarter within a Kickstarter... this is a problem DF needs to fix. I'll say it for the bajillionth time,TOO BIG again. What kind of incomes do these people think we all have? FWIW, if the cost to make new DF is going up significantly year over year as they have said, presumably what...

Re: Dreadhollow screencaps
Not even really a concern about Dreadhollow, but what have been people's thoughts on any kind of negative space usage with this set? If I invest in this I'd like to be able to do smaller maps (pretty much as seen on TV) but if I ever did a larger map not sure how the 4x4 blocks would play with a ba...

Re: A thousand here...
I'm at $10 right now, so statistically there must be someone at $100,000?

Re: Beans: Forest sub-theme
I'll be honest guys, I'm just in this one for the forest pieces. So for me, KS6 is a "smaller" one

Re: Favorite Part of KS5 - Dungeon of Doom
My favorite part was checking in every day to see what stretch goals were unlocked, and what Add-Ons were available. Revealing Add-Ons every day regardless of funding level was a great idea, and one I hope to see more of in the future.

Re: how to use castle for rpgs [starting with 5e D&D]
while i like the idea of simplicity, i don't want to gloss over realism. if a draw bridge is pulled up the castle wall by two thick chains, how can a grappling hook and rope be able to pull it down, hence my question "can they then pull it down". its not just a matter of strength but also...

Re: how to use castle for rpgs [starting with 5e D&D]
so now i have a castle how do i let the players storm or defend the castle? i'm using 5th ed D&D so i'm looking for exact details about that system, however, others can use this thread for other systems. i know there is some info in the DMG but its very vague and i'm not sure how to use it for ...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?
OK, to actually answer the question in the thread title: 1. I know this isn't realistic, but I really wish I could've just chosen the pieces that I wanted. The "encounter" model felt like it was trying to lure me into buying pieces I don't want. For example, I really wanted the large round...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?
paying tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in molds for items that only a few hundred people will get seems at odds with this. We often hear talk of leveraging economy of scale, and with full recognition that I don't have access to DF's books and business model, this seems like the opposite of...
