Re: Kickstarter - Adventure Tiles

I saw the kickstarter a while ago and really liked this idea of adding extra features where ever you like and using it as a base for a dwarn forge city or castle build. But I already have other game mats. The concept of the pit trap really appealed to me. The idea immediately made me realise that if...

Re: PM invites out for anyone yet?

Aside from the times I won't want a bench at a dead end because of specific build.
There will be plenty of times a bench would look great in other places such as along an esplanade or in a market square. Or even in a dungeon waypoint.
I assume a stone bench of some sort.

Re: PM invites out for anyone yet?

A bench for the elderly to rest on is a good idea.
But I would prefer it to be a separate piece and not built into the street piece.

Re: CBS Finally Painted.

I like it very much too.
Very nice paint job, great choice of colour for the walls.
That would fit in very well with the CBS canal builds look using those walls.

The Dwarven Forge Set suggestion with the Dwarven Arches and Doorways... by zoroaster100 » Wed Apr 06, 2016 3:30 pm A Dwarven Forge set, with not only big forges but also a Dwarven hall reminiscent of Moria from Lord of the Rings, with really big dwarven pillars, and dwarven arches and doorways, and...

Re: Motorized Gate Switch

Just a half baked thought regarding manual operation. Old fashioned wind up key to access mechanism through wall hole rather than having to remove upper levels.

Re: Motorized Gate Switch

No I don't see it happening either. But it would be awesome.
Especially for big builds. Where you don't want to reach far.
Perfect for doing a video of the scene as you don't need to show yourself.
Dwarvenite will outlast all the electronics and still look great for many decades.

Re: Motorized Gate Switch

Remote operation would be totally awesome!
Especially if you are displaying at a convention or want to do a dramatic lowering of the drawbridge scene unexpectedly during play.

Re: Wicked City Ideas

If distinct character is wanted then let there be slums, stables and workshop modular pieces. To make this work we only need some vertical board wall inserts for tudor posts, and some low pitch wooden roof tiles with ceder shingles nailed on. The roof pieces need not have magnetic inserts as the pit...
