Re: So expensive :(
I honestly do not see 3d printing currently comparable to cast products. Apples and oranges. But then I loathe print lines. Cast plastics like Archon Studio? Much more comparable. Then it comes down to preferences in design and material. But then cast plaster and resin terrain was competing with DF ...

Re: So expensive :(
Well too expensive for sure. Impossible to acquire for europeans with VAT & P&P fees. ... Sorry we get hung at times on words and phrases being bandied around which are incorrect. but given we are European and pledged for Starforged, its clearly not impossible to acquire. Just much more exp...

Re: Talk about the new GF Starforged Campaign
And I notice price was the biggest complaint over on Dakka Dakka when I posted about the campaign. Well isn't price the most frequent "excuse" used to not get DF stuff. Nothing new there. It is top-of-the-line terrain, with excellent versatility, incredibly durable, and not hard to paint ...

Re: Talk about the new GF Starforged Campaign
I just wanted to say how much I like what the folks at DF have created so far. I did not expect to like Starforged this much. It is a hard sell for me, I have relied on cardstock sci-fi terrain from Battle Systems (Core Space) with some Archon Studio D&L scatter pieces so far. I have not built t...

Thanks Rabbit Burner. Your Flickr has some glorious photos. As a fan of Gene Wilder's take on Wonka I look forward to seeing Timothee Chalamet's take on a younger Wonka. The trailers look good. Great to hear you enjoyed it. He was good in Dune, better than I expected. The King was alright but hard t...

Re: Ideas for Set Beta (if it ever gets made) - aaannnd GO!
Jefferi2, you make some excellent points. However, just to clarify, when I say 40k I mean the universe not just specifically the main 40k game… so Space Hulk, Necromunda and Kill Team were what I had in mind given the current DF offerings. That said, Gothic sci-fi buildings with skulls and pointed a...

Perhaps another area to consider for sci-fi is transparent/translucent pieces.
Healing fluid (Bacta) tanks for example. Power conduits. Observation ports.
Just a thought.
