I have set up a Yahoo Group called Master Maze in which to post pics and share tips. The link to this site is in the introductory message there.

The forums here are excellent, but I wanted somewhere to post individual photo albums and messages, along with hints, files and polls that can be immediately accessed. If time is an issue finding things can be a bit bewildering otherwise.

The group is not intended to take any interest away from the main site here. On the contrary, I mean it to be almost my personal annex to this place in which I and any contributers can post anything related to the fantasy range.

Please feel free to join if you wish.

Hi Void, it`s taking shape and I hope in time that it will be a useful resource to Master Maze users.

Initial interest seems low, so I`ll take a moment to explain why I think it`s worth a try.

A Yahoo Group has features such as a photo section, a files section, a links section and a poll section to go with the main message board.

This means that once a photo album or file has been uploaded, it can be found again exactly where it was last time. It does not fall away into older pages after a while.

This means that any member who wants to can have their own album and add to it when they wish. Thus, Every pic from that person is in one place and not spread around.

Likewise with files. I have set up folders for various things such as dungeon layouts, trap ideas, product suggestions etc and any contribution will remain in that location for all to read. (As it is a file, you read only the suggestion and not a string of replies as well).

With the best will in the world, a new member to this forum cannot read every post ever made and so with a file section they can see at a glance what suggestions have already been made and not be doomed to repeat them, unless they want to.

The best place to talk all things Master Maze will always be the main website here, but I think that there is a place for a kind of easily accessed ideas library such as the aforementioned group.

Cheers

Hey London, very nice work on the Dwarven Stronghold. I like the ideas of using the inverted passage pieces to make bridges and supports for raised platforms!

I've joined your group, I'll submit some pics asap. Thanks for creating a nice venue for us DF freaks!
