Would DF consider adding a small section entitled "limited item availability" for items or sets that may not be re-stocked for a time, (or at all) once they have been sold out? If there are any such items to include in this category*

I suggest this as it may help DF in moving or selling some/any lingering stock, while also giving collectors "fair warning" to secure these sets (or items) while they're available.

There could be an explanation that items listed in that section are not necessarily going to be discontinued, but will not be automatically re-stocked once sold-out and as a result will remain unavailable for an undertermined amount of time.

* I am presuming that if there are slower-moving items/sets they may not be a re-stocking priority and in fact, may be left unavailable for various periods of time, if not indefinately.

It may not be worth the effort, but I thought I'd toss the idea out there anyway for you to consider.

Add me to the cheering section on this idea; it would be an excellent method for moving out old stock, and for generating a good idea of what is in demand, by way of counting hits on a particular item on the list.
And I know it wouldn't be THAT difficult to do the Web page that way; I'm a crass amateur-just-starting-out with Web design, and I could do it! So for Doug, it only be a question of "Do I have the time to build this one?"

I highly suggest you implement this idea, Jeff.

See ya!

I will try to see if our limited software can handle this. We are looking into upgrading our website commerce software again this year, so if we can't do it now -- then hopefully soon. I like the idea of a close out section.
