What does '(in stock Aug. 1st)' in the Order History Details mean? 8 Years, 2 Months ago
I wonder about the following:

When I preordered my Cavernous River & Walls Sets, I also ordered some individual pieces, which where either in stock or titled in stock Jun. 1st then.

When I now look at the order details of that order in the order history, some items are titled with (in stock Aug. 1st).

Is that only kind of an accident, e.g. because the same names as on the rest of the Web Site are used there or does that mean the restocking of those items has been delayed?

If the latter one is the case, how does the 'we send an order when everything is in stock' policy apply here?
Since, when I composed the order, I could assume that all tiles would be available when the CRW sets arrive at DF.

So the resulting important question now is: Do I have to wait until August for that order now?

By the way: Off course I would usually split such an order into 'available', 'currently non available' and 'preordered' items, especially when transport were for free (like in most german online shops, when a specific payment amount is reached), but with the enormous international shipping costs from US to germany this is simply impossible.

Lonestarr,
Not sure about all your questions, but I ordered some 6x6 floor pieces back when they where to be delivered in June. So I was also suprised when I read that the new delivery date was August 1st.

However, Jeff answered the question nicely: He said that the June shipment of floor tiles was sold out, so any new orderes will not be filled until the August container arrives. My order will be filled with the June shipment, since I placed the order before they sold out. My guess is that the same applies to you.

From what I've seen, DF makes good on thier promises. If your receipt says that your parts will be filled from the June shipment, count on it.

Cheers,

Zul;

Concur. In fact, IIRC, I had an order one time that was tail-end Charlie on dates, and part of a shipment was damaged on receipt at Knoxville, or wherever they ship from. Jeff sent me an e-mail PERSONALLY apologizing for the delay (there was a second shipment already 'feet dry') and they were able to get it out to me in under a week.
Now THAT is service!

LoneStarr, I wouldn't worry about your stuff, AS LONG AS your receipt includes all the pieces. If they're NOT on there, THEN I'd drop a private e-mail to Jeff.

See ya!

Well, I also hope that the 'in stock June' from my order day and original invoice still applies and that it is just a Web Site problem. Putting the restocking date in the product name and as a result changing it 'everywhere' on the site, even in historical data like order and invoice information, is probably not a good idea. But since I do neither know what software (except that it is php) is used for the shop, nor how difficult it would be to change that, I leave it just as a suggestion for further improvement.

If I won't hear anything about a tracking number for my order during the next week I would contact DF directly anyway. The last time (DoE) the warehouse send the package out but forgot to inform DF about the Tracking number. So after some e-mails between me and Lori I got the tracking number from her just one day before I had the customs notice about my package in the mail.
