Strange happenings on the way to the market 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Our Party had just completed a quest for the destruction of an evil high priest that threatened the local magistrate, church and town. After a long ride our baggage train took camp for the night all members celebrating and happy to fall deep into sleep. A wondrous morning shook everyone when it was noticed that all treasures and pack animals were gone without any signs of disturbance. One of our Henchmen noticed a few coins glinting in the morning reflected light leading about a mile away, into the hills and leading to several caverns.... The party decided to search the caves after long deliberation as to which entrance to start with....

This was a fun layout with many directions and encounters all leading to future encounters and missions far past that of the 3-6 level characters.

I find the biggest problem with taking pictures of game play layouts is remembering time to take pictures.... I didn't get good pics of the low light settings with around 75 LED light pieces in use... Oh well next time.

What an amazing setup - love the labyrinth of caverns, too fun to explore - i like giving players options even in a big layout and this accomplishes that nicely.

Pentagram/Pentagon room is awesome - very flavorful and it looks great - you must have an "in" with someone who makes LED mods because you sure have a LOT of them ;) - they really make the setup POP!

Super cool, thanks for sharing

Well done Keeblerorc. Love how you used your products in fun ways. The use of the fire pits to top off the corners was a great idea.

It also sounds like a fun romp through the caves.

Probably one of the greatest lessons for the players in this game was that often "RUNNING" is the best solution in chance encounters. The party would retreat from stronger enemies and run into weaker one's..... then regroup and do it all again.
In the process of recovering the lost treasures and draft animals They discovered a Mad Scientist and his Dungeon, Entrance to the Realm's of the Orc Gods, The Foul Lake of the Dead, 3 Low level adventures, 1 Med level adventure and 2 10-12 level adventures. Due to the nature of caverns small hints gained from other contacts can lead to new caves and as always when one monster/encounter is gone others are happy to fill the void.
Several characters even intend to take building materials and craftsmen in the future and build a series of Forts in the underworld to stage future assault.

Much Fun....Inspired by our Leader...Stefan.

And this little piggie went we we we all the way home afraid of all the monsters and traps!!! While all the LEDS look nice, with my and many of my gamers old eyes we tend to prefer as much light as we can get so they don't impress us old timers much. Now if the torches actually flickered and gave off shadowy light that might be different. A touch of smoke from them would be a nice mod to them also.

@ Kitenerd, Dafrca, Natetaylor And Stefan... Thanks for the positive comments you guys are awesome (As always).

We didn't play this one with the lights off... Many of our player's are near-sited and "Old" like myself but everybody wanted every LED on the table lit every session... So I guess you had to be there.

@Brvheart... almost all the LED's on the table flicker and create amazing shadows in use.... BUT I live in a smoke free house so I'll have to leave those smoke effects to you and your players.

Luckily smoke effects don't require any smoke! Dry ice or water vapor (from an ultrasonic vaporizer) will both work just fine.

Awesome set-up all around. Well done!

Awesome stuff my friend!! That looks like a really fun setup to play through, lots of interesting twist and turns and locations to explore. The pentagram room is particularly eye catching. I love that the star can be removed to reveal a pool beneath and that the pool itself is removable. I imagine you could make all sorts of things to fit in that space.

75 LED light pieces!! Impressive, very impressive :)
