What simple mods have you done to KS game tiles? 10 Months, 1 Week ago
I've been thinking of doing some mods to a few of my tiles and there are some amazing mods on the forums that utilize power tools and sharp things. You folks rock!

But I get worn out just thinking of doing something like that so I am looking for some mods folks have done just using paint or a few simple add-ons. Anyone?

One such mod I was thinking was adding some 'dungeon graffiti'. Stefan, am I correct in assuming that any miniature paint will be okay on top of your great paints with no fear of stickiness?

I've also considered using terrain grass for mold on the wall. Again, Stefan, any issue with using Elmer's or basic craft glue to adhere it?

So anyone else come up with other simple ideas?

I've used Elmers and Tacky Glue from Walmart. Neither one has an issue. I have added mold and dirt on the tiles without a problem. The tacky glue shrinks some, so my dirt piles in the corners are kinda flat.

I'm also working on molding my own passages out of the GTs.

Can't get much simpler than cutting a few tiles in half.
Quite handy when making dungeons to match existing maps or odd sized rooms.

Just a good craft knife.

I clamped the floor tile against some wood and it is sitting on its edge.
Then cut down and apply brute force.

You can "shave" a bit off to round out any sharp corners or uneven cuts.
