I thought the kickstarter was very well done. In fact absolutely the best I've been in and the Reaper folks should pay you guys for lessons on how it should be done.

The pieces themselves are great

My only two disappointments were Dungeon Grey was really black and the 4by6 tile pieces were warped and in all candidness, they offered to replace those 4by6 pieces but I never got around to sending them in so that is on me.

I think I said this before somewhere else but I like the factory paint jobs more than the KS pictures, which seemed too bright. When crawling in the dark with a torch, colors are more muted. I don't know what every one else got in the mail but for me, my tiles looked more like real stone than the KS pictures. But I think it's fair to say people have different tastes about what they want their terrain to look like and, given that they are hand painted, variations are inevitable. But, despite that variation, I still prefer handpainted as it looks sooo much better.

I also think it's great that unpainted versions are available for people to paint how they want. At some point I will buy unpainted sets to paint in wild colors (wanting to to jade stones for DCCRPG adventure!)

Also, I liked the 4x6 tiles, even if they were a little warped, it was not noticble in use. Looking foward to caverns!

I use my 4x6 tiles nearly every time I game... I think they are a huge asset.

In fact I think my 4x6 tiles are essential to getting the most out of my 3 sets plus stretch goals.

I typically feel like I have enough pieces to get what I want built.

With the new Caverns Kickstarter coming I am certain I will compliment what I already own... although it is quite likely I will order more in the upcoming Kickstarter than I did in the first primarily because of the pieces that will allow for 3d vertical builds.

I sooooo look forward to people being able to answer their own question... are the walls natural or carved? lol
