Vallejo paints (Model Color), 3 stage painting

1) wet dry-brush Chocolat Brown (70.872)
2) occasional brick highlight with Brown Sand (70.876), touches of colour to floor with Purple, Orange, Deep Green
3) (very dry) dry brush with Sky Grey (70.989)

Painting a dozen or so pieces one "stage" at a time means it takes only a minute or so per piece to paint.

Very happy with the outcome ... and the pieces are just stunning in detail, it is near impossible to go wrong getting a great look with very simple painting techniques.

Will play with some more detail in a few pieces once they are all painted to the same scheme, e.g. wall moss, floor grass, slime, puddles, blood spatters, water stains etc.

Great pieces DF !

Good to know Vallejo paints don't leave a tacky end. It is the paint my local shop carries. I did pick up the four Pokorny paints and have a grey 1st dry brush done, and find myself at the picking out individual stones and am deciding what to do. Stick with what the video shows, or something closer to what you have done here. An image at each stage would be awesome (if you aren't done yet), but in any case good work! Still thinking what to do with the Chamber of Sorrows. Started with a bone coloured dry brush so a blood coloured (red plus burnt sienna, maybe adding a touch of ultra marine blue) dry brushing will pop better.
