Great Job! That was easy right?
The walls were done exactly the same but with a final gold drybrush mostly on the edges....

Quorthon13 - THANK YOU! - This is awesome!

Dandare was right, i am one of the people you have made very happy!

Like you i want more CoS floors, just so i can build out a bit and have multiple doors. You have given me a great way to get there. Now i have to learn to paint ;)

I updated my directions on painting the Chamber of Sorrows paint scheme - I added primer instructions, pics of 4x6 floor tiles CoS style, and 2 tiles sealed. Had a much easier time painting after using primer first.... using "other" paints - not specially formulated Pokorny paints. ;-)

So will the army painter spray primer eat up the tiles? I heard that some aerosols in another thread cause decay of the tiles. If not, then that is the primer I would use! Thanks for the awesome thread!

Those 4x6 Tiles look good as COS! There is something awful about all those little blood filled squares....a chopping area perhaps?

army painter spray primer is acrylic and is on the recommended list of DF tiles primers, and seems to be the only 100% compatible spray primer. It also works great with reaper bones minis.

It also worked great in my test.

Right now my daughters(7yo and 2yo) are the ones who have been playing with the DF tiles - they absolutely love them and have played with them every day since they arrived. (hint hint - kids may be a target market for them too)
I wouldn't be surprised if they use them as Afgan rugs or something 1st. ;-)

Afgan rug that is same color as CoS

I just wanted more floor space for my CoS and bought the 4x6 pack with that in mind, but they would look great with a sac altar or 2 placed on them

Here is my attempt. I used the Liquitex Basics as shown in the picture. I also tried a blue version, not sure what I will name this chamber.

The wall is from my other CofS add on which is factory painted.

I noticed these paints take much longer to dry and the ex gf just moved out so I don't have a hair dryer to use on them. I have the Krayon Crystal Clear Gloss to spray on them to make them glossy, is that ok to use?

I assume you meant Krylon. I stopped using the krylon clear spray sealer because I had too many issues with minis ending up tacky/sticky with it.... so if you decide to use it - test it on one piece and make sure it dries and doesn't feel sticky to the touch. The main reason I like 'Rust-Oleum Zinsser 408 Bulls Eye Clear Shellac Spray' is it leaves a nice shine and absolutely no sticky/tacky afterwards - its even rescued a number of minis that were badly sticky/tacky.

Has anyone besides Quorthon13 tried these Liquitex Glossies? Do we have a 2nd opinion in person of how spot on they match? Quorthon13, are they a perfect match, good enough, or just ok?

I didnt use the glossies, just the basics liquidtex, after finding someone local that sells the glossies I was going to try them but the basics were a spot on match with some gloss I didn't bother going to get the glossies if that helps.

I labeled the tiles I painted on the bottom because I couldn't tell them apart.
