If there is already on please do tell, if not lets start one. List of paints that work and list of paints that stay tacky or not at all.

Good
Vallejo

Tacky
Rust-oleum painters touch for plastic

No good
Earth Color

If you post under here I will keep adding to this part so people will not have to look.
Also I know I saw one from DF and can not find it right now.

This evening, I painted several pieces using Apple Barrel acrylic craft paints. No tackiness what-so-ever!

The colors I used are:

Dry coat 1: pewter grey
Random stone color: nutmeg brown
Dry coat 2: haystack
Very light dry coat 3: antique white

Hope this helps.

Good link there Biowizard! :)

Interestingly, i think the REAL find of that painting list is that, if you are going to prime you better use the Army painter primers!! As they work well with all the paints...!

I already like their primers, and this is just another thumbs up for them in my opinion.

Well, not that we need to prime the dwarvenite game tiles, its optional.

I have still not received mine, and they are all painted, but im also getting a small itch towards painting some myself...

Great idea. I'll add in mine, as well. I used Craft paints without primer or washing. I chose almost the same as AlmaiStonefist's choices with equally good results:

Drycoat #1: Apple Barrel 2620 "Pewter Grey"
Random Stone Color: Apple Barrel 20432 "Nutmeg Brown"
Drycoat #2: FolkArt 645 "Basil Green"
Final Drybrush: Apple Barrel 21463 "Antique Parchment"
