Impressions and First Real Build 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I received my Game Tiles on Friday and am in love with this product! First, there were no issues with shipping and everything arrived as expected. I bought 3 painted sets, Chamber of Sorrow, Floor pack, Stair Pack, and Dungeon Dressing pack.

All of the pieces have great detail and the paint jobs are consistent and well done. I did notice a slight bend on the big pool from Chamber of Sorrow and the large floor pieces, but bending them in the opposite direction fixed the issue. I am very impressed with Dwarven Forge in how they handled this Kickstarter, and I will eagerly back the upcoming caverns one as well. Great job guys!

Here are some pics of the sets and my first creation! This is the Black Keep from my Pathfinder campaign. I elevated the back end to heighten the 3d effect. I like how it turned out!

Edit: The Black Keep used up all of the floor pieces, and I couldn't go any larger. However, since it nearly takes up all the space on my table that really isn't an issue. I had loads of straight walls left over though, so a traditional dungeon with lots of passages and smaller rooms could probably be even bigger.

Awesome stuff - love the rise in elevation - though we play looking down, the PC's eye view really gives an air of believability to the setup

i am kicking myself for not getting one or more floor packs - i was new to DF and did not realize how utilitarian they were going to be - hard to get excited by 7 floor tiles when there were stairs and dungeon dressings and Chamber of Sorrows... oh well that is the price of being naive

Thanks for sharing and helping me survive vicariously the last few weeks!

TheHangedMan,

Thank you for sharing. Nice Setup. I especially like the slow elevation, it makes the whole thing more majestic.

In my experience, links toward online pictures tend not to work after some time (as in 3 years + from now). Could you re-post the pictures directly in the "Cool photos" section of this forum to continue building upon the biggest repository of dungeon decors? Photos have to be 500 kb or less, less than 1000 pixels across...
