Love Love Love the light blue transparent waterfall... SO excited to get the unpainted Wicked Addition set now!

I wonder what a little ink wash would do to that color. It is almost perfect to play right out of the box.

LOVE!!!!

Stefan, any chance we could see the back of the waterfall piece? I am curious to know if it can stand on its own or has to be supported by another tile (arch, wall, etc.).

I don't really understand this transition piece. It is a stand-alone wall, with Dungeon Tile on one side and Cavern Wall on the other, correct?

The first picture uses Dungeon Tiles (straight walls) and a Dungeon floor tile with the stand-alone transition wall piece on top, correct?

In reality, from the back, it would never look like the the second picture. Here you have switched the tiles. You are using all cavern pieces along with the transition piece to get them to match? If this picture were the reverse of the top image, it would actually look like all Dungeon Walls with one random Cavern transition piece in the middle?

I'm trying to understand how to use this "transition" piece so that both sides make sense - without switching all the tiles around it?

The second picture might not be the transition wall but the cavern wall with the burrow opening... There are 2 of them in addition to the transition piece that is part of the wicked additions add-on.

That is true, if you put the transition wall along either type of tiles, one side will not match and it will look funny. You could put back to back rows of each wall tile, but there would be a gap at the transition piece.

The only real way I can think to use it is to place it along with the dungeon tiles. Then on the cavern side use a narrow cavern passage piece to lead in to the cavern room. It creates an inconvenience, but it'll work.

Would it work better if it were double the usual thickness?

That could allow for back to back rooms, but then it removes the ability to use it with a passage piece. I'm not sure which would be better!

Double the thickness would work - if you want to have cavern wall tiles back to back with dungeon tiles, I suppose.

Honestly, I think why bother though?

1) We have a Critter Hole Wall (wall with a hole and Caverns on both sides)

2) What kind of wall of bricks wouldn't have a back side? Really, the broken wall should just have Dungeon tiles on the reverse. Then you have a "Dungeon" analog to the Critter Hole Wall.

Yes, that kind of takes away the "transition" aspect of the piece... but as it stands, it doesn't really make sense anyway.

I must say I am disappointed to see that the transition piece is a stand alone wall. My stand alone walls are constantly falling over.

A floor with this would be great, because I will end up gluing this transition piece to a floor tile anyway. Oh well.

The waterfall is BEYOND expectation so far, and I am sure will turn around some of those people from the Meh Kingdom! (Doraleous?...someone out there got this)

As for the transition piece not matching the back of the dungeon tile walls....

Making them double thickness works only when you plan on making a second row of caverns behind. Which wont be the case all the time.

As is, is fine for me.
