Wish list... where to start???

I love the sewer designs, and trust Stefan to put together an awesome package.

Now that we have seen the possibilities of translucent dwarvenite, i DEFINITELY want removable water inserts. Sometimes you are adventuring in abandoned sewers, sometimes you are adventuring in sewers that are smelly and in use, on a really bad day the abandoned sewer gets suddenly flooded ;) Being able to use these pieces one way and then lay water pieces (i hesitate to say sewage pieces, lest we deteriorate into poop jokes...) in them for a different (or changing) environment is a win win.

Beyond that...
* Large collection and retention areas, perhaps with raised "island" type areas in the center (or just the ability to put a couple of 2x2 floor pieces in place of the "water"

* Multiple ways to get in/out: Grates of course, but also doors and walls with ladders leading up to ??? (that would be part of another set)

* Not to go too steampunk, but some big wheel type valve actuators would make for lots of plot potential

* Sluice gate type of pieces for holding back water (or the things that live in the water)

* Makeshift bridges - someone has been here before and left this big wooden beam laying across the "water" to the other side...

That is a good start...

@kodiakbear - unacceptable - i demand nothing less than a full endorsement of ALL of my ideas!

If you have a sluice, you need some way to open and close it right? - those chains have to lead somewhere - why not to a large wheel that could be turned open and shut?

frighteningly, i can find lots of pictures of sluices in sewers, but no pictures of the mechanism that operates them

I still hope we see removable sewer grates and some interesting intersection builds. I would like to be able to use the new river waterfall pieces as parts of elevation changes in the sewer. Perhaps some ramped corridor pieces for sloping parts of the sewer some curved passage sctions would be nice as well.

My guess is that the wheel is not in the sewers but on the surface.

And I did not want to sound like a suck-up. ;)

PERFECT! - some version of that would make an awesome piece

I don't know about all of you, but as a player, if there is a lever on the dungeon wall, i pull it! Even though i KNOW it is going to end badly, i can't resist ;)

Stefan - i hope when you recover from Gencon you notice the image Shapur as found, it would make an excellent wicked sewer addition!

I still favor using wall and floor tiles to define the channels, and water tiles (or no tiles at all) for the channels. It's simpler and it's cheaper.

I'd be curious about historical examples of medieval sewer controls. Also, I think we're mixing up different types of sewers. Catacomb sewers that people can walk around in are very different from drainage sewers that are solely channels for liquid flows.

I really hoped it wouldn't be a game tile KS but it seems to be a lost cause now with what you announced Stefan. Indeed I waited for so many years with many of us in this forum about this sewer project.

I remember my discussions years ago with Lord A asking himself how to do it, showing sketches and searching for the best configuration before working with you Stefan. When he told me he was working with you, I thought it was done, just a matter of time to get it perfect.
Of course it was before the dwarvenite stuff.
I'm glad to see he succeeded in doing it with you.

We talked a lot about the sewers project because it's the next episode crossing the caverns, dungeons, catacombs & medieval environments for all adventures. The fact you have worked a lot on the modularity of each piece is great.

I can't hide my disappointment since I wanted the quality of the sclupts, the paints and the tiny details in resin. Anyway good luck with it. I'm sure it will be a successful KS again with al of ot bonus stuffs.
