Stefan also mentioned on FB how his waterfall would look so much better cast in a translucent material..

so there is a possibility of having a clear-ish dwarvenite waterfall..

Love the waterfall pic - want to say again that i am excited by this piece and look forward to it. I woud also almost certainly buy a more elaborate modular waterfall too. Always good to have options.

Now to complain. As a member of the faithful who checks in here daily... what i want more than anything is pics from Stefan (don't get me wrong, i love all of you and the interesting discussions and amazing pics...). I am craving pics of what the wicked additions stuff will look like when it is done. I am always a bit offended that the world of Facebook gets to see things first before the faithful of the forums. Just sour grapes from someone who refused to get on Facebook.

I heard Facebook made some changes. Lately some of the stuff I follow I don't get any updates for and I have to go manually check them. It is kind of obnoxious that Facebook sends me "recommended" posts from things I don't care about at all and fails to deliver updates from things I follow.

I think I need to express my distaste to them. It may not do any good, but I feel the need to do regardless.

Thanks for posting those, I will have to start manually checking all the mini related pages I follow as well now.

I am sure Stefan will drop some hints here, it might be a touch easier to post to FB sometimes, but I will try to move over any and all pics that I see for you all.

I am beginning to be a little disappointed that I didn't go in for 2 of the Wicked Additions Packs...

maybe later, in the store.

fingers crossed like a bazillion times. Locking in early prevented me from splurging even furthar so it is both a good thing and a bad thing. my wallet is already weeping enough... AND I totally need a double door or two from Griffin Tamer's upcoming KS...

I'm sorry for posting on FB these quick shots from my iPhone....it's just so much easier and quicker to do....I shoot, press my facebook icon and send away....he,he....I don't have to move from my sculpting station...

besides, I know someone will leak it here to the forums anyway:)

Thanks again everybody! And for your faith!

I'll post a pic to the forum when the Wicked Cavern Set is finally sampled and I have all the factory pieces to show of course! It is a good set:)

Can't wait till November!

@Oldmanwillow - I am eager to hear about the process you develop for coating the Polyfiber. I had not considered making modular spray before. That has nearly a dozen applications right off the top of my head. I am very excited by the possibilities. Thanks again for taking the time to share your expertise and photos.

I applied the Mod podge and Water Effect to the Polyfiber. I quickly realised it needed to be glued down first. I used the hot glue gun to attach the Polyfiber to some clear plastic package material. I then painted the Modge Podge on the fiber. I will have to wait several hours for the Mod Podge to dry. The Water Effect will take over night. I used Mod Podge on one of the flame markers to see what the result will be.

This is a WIP of the concept I have for a street/sewer tile

I will need a lot of cast to create a 3D version of this board game. I will create a custom mold.

I appreciate the photos and the information Oldmanwillow. I hope to mess around with some attempts to replicate this in the next week. When you apply the Mod Podge are you pouring, doing a brush application, or is it a spray on type? Thanks yet again!

I brushed on the Modge Podge and Realistic Water. The Water Effects is a thick paste. I used a oil pant knife for that. I tried to use the Water Effects as glue on the blue tiles. Glue it first. You should use a low temp glue gun on the plastic.
The Mod Podge did not seem glossy enough. I added a coat of Realistic Water.I decided to try the school project brand of Realistic Water called Scenarama too because it has a blue color added. The blue is not dry in the photo.
I do not have a spray gloss. I will get some and try that too.The Fire markers were made with spray neon paint. I have some green neon I will try that too.
