3 pices starting out, wall, corner, and floor, I would guess. Is it asking for to much info to ask how many piece come in one set, before stretch goals?

Those caverns look amazing, but with all the extra detail, can minis still be placed there without falling over or being unstable? Things on smaller bases or top heavy miniatures look like they could be difficult to use, particularly on those flat tiles with all the smaller studs. I'll no doubt buy in either way, but it'd be nice to know whether I can use all my bat minis on tiny bases :p

@Himajin
These have been designed for minis, and with play in mind. I have taken a very close look and the extra detail isn't going to be a problem on play surface or stability.

That's why these really are the best of both worlds... detailed, and yet highly playable.

They will see incredibly versatility and usability.

@Stefan I see some green highlights... Will we not be seeing those interesting purple highlights?

These look great... I am just curious about paint scheme here.

So, for months I have been posting about the Caverns KS at a few forums and I am wondering what forums others are posting at about the Caverns KS.

Himajin,
don't worry about the floors with the little rocks:) I designed them for old school miniatures that have very small bases....the little pebbles are strategically placed to be level with the top of the piece...as long as your miniatures base is fairly straight it should be no problem...I have tested them on all sorts of miniatures...

Is the base colour is these sets brown like the dungeon tiles?

I remember wondering if it was possible to make the dwarvenite caverns just as rich in detail as the older resin caverns....well, they certainly do! I actually think they look better! And, they are more versatile! And they are made of Dwarvenite!

here is a shot of both mixed in together...I think they work fine even if they are not a perfect match...best way to mix them would be to have different sections of the cavern I think...

You can now easily copy caverns from modules because of the 2"x2" footprint and narrow passage piece....

So...for those of you who might have Resin Caverns already....I really beseech you to get some of these babies, you won't be disappointed:)

Stephan, kudo's to you my friend. I am really impressed at the detail on these 2x2 pieces. Frankly (and this is from someone who hasnt touched the new pieces, but has plenty of the older pieces) I actually, think I like the new ones better. the smaller size is going to give a nice diversity of design capability than the resin pieces.

I have a question about painting though. is there an easy way to remove a paint job from the dwarvenite pieces? I painted a set that im not thrilled with, and I can get the paint off with hot water and a paintbrush, but there has got to be an easier way. Can I stick dwarvenite in a dishwasher?

After you all stop laughing I am actually serious. will it melt the pieces? as anyone tried it?

I hear the minis community talk about soaking in Simple Green all of the time; have you tried that?
