And that my friends... is why I am having them painted by the DF paint team... lol

Gorgeous detail... which deserves someone painting those bad boys in gorgeous detail!

Here is some sculpting I did in Hampshire, UK....still not sure If these are going to come out exactly like this using metal molds...so view this with a grain of salt...the color is blond because that is the color of the plastiline we used...the final unpainted Dwarvenite color will most likely be dark gray/brown...concerning the floors, yes, miniatures stand fine on them....I feel this is going to be a truly spectacular set...it will cost a little more, but it will be worth it...in 18 years we have never spent so much money or traveled to so many places to get a set done right...this is going to be my master work...please be patient and horde your gold coins...

Stefan these look fantastic!

Thank You for all your hard work so far, and all your hard work to come.

Those look great! I'm in for at least five sets, and I'm sure I can talk friends & family into buying 10 or 15 more...

Awesome looking prototypes for sure! I can't wait to see how things look once they get the molds running. I am hoping to go in for more this time around than last.

I am already spreading the word about the upcoming KS to some local groups, including some university gaming groups. I am hopeful that more local folks will participate this time than last.

Also, the sculpts have received my 2 year old's official seal of approval.

Her: Daddy, what's dat?

Me: Those are the new pieces the nice man is making for us to build with.

Her: Can put da minis on dem?

Me: Yep, that's what they're for.

Her: YAY!

She already built a mini dungeon on her own and proceeded to wreck it with a dragon! Wish I had my camera or phone handy at the time...

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

Thank you everyone for all the suggestions you posted...it was a small book! I read them all and took notes on which ones were most popular...thankfully, all the things that I wanted to make as well...we Dungeon masters think alike me thinks....still working on stuff...there will be lots of kool add on's too...remember, this is all in Dwarvenite, unbreakable! each piece has to be sculpted very carefully so as not to produce any undercuts at the wrong angles..it's hairy tedious work...not fun...but ultimately it is satisfying when you realize that yes, some really nice things ARE possible with this medium and maybe some things are even better!
Spread the word folks!

Trust me I have been hoarding quite allot. But now that I have seen the incredible first prototypes I just need to know when the KS will start so I can rob a bank to buy four or five times the 10 sets I was hording for. ;)

What I find super exciting about the sculpt is that it is as elaborate and beautiful as the classic Cavern Resin Set. In my mind, the similar sculpts would make both Sets to be compatible with one another and this would be fantastic! It was said about 9 months ago that the Dwarvenite/PVC Game Tiles would be compatible with the classic resin Mastermaze. Unfortunately the 2*2 PVC pieces were slightly bigger and the pre-painted pieces had a slightly darker paint job. I know both line of products are made in 2 different places with probably different brands of paint to match the different medium, but would it be possible to put extra efforts so that the paint jobs are compatible? PLEAAAAAAASE!
