Apparently the fire on Cicada Crafts is hidden... here's what I bought: www.etsy.com/transaction/176687150?ref=shop_review

If you can't find it in their shop, just message them. They're great.

(reposting this commend from another thread to get it into the correct discussion).

A thought about add-ons, extra molds are expensive but exclusive paint jobs are relatively cheap.

The one think I did wrong in the first kickstarter, was not buy more of the red painted dungeon tiles. I only bought two sets.

I would really like to see an add-on or two with a different paint scheme. And Ice Cavern and Fire Cavern would both be useful in the games I run.

Are any of the rest of you interested in alternative colors schemes as add-ons?

I would be. For an excellent example of alternative paint schemes for caverns check out the image from the Labyrinths Kickstarter by Iron Ring Games (who uses Hirst Arts molds) that did just that:

They sure had some impressive paint jobs and a huge variety of tiles and accessories.

I like the look of the Ice and Lava sets.

Another idea for Unlock would be a single piece with an unusual/Exclusive paint job added to the main set. A section of wall with a bright red part (fire erupting) or some other interesting color showing some other effect.

(I keep trying variation on the idea that new molds are expensive but new paint jobs are "Relatively" cheap, hoping to give Stefan and Jeff a spark of an idea).

Did Stefan and/or Jeff ever mention what the ratio of Painted/Unpainted sets sold in the last KS?

I hope they remembered (or had the time to look into) my idea and looked at the possibility of casting clear transparent PVC as a better alternative to making an ice cavern, not just a whitish/blue paint job.

I'm slowly but steadily painting both fire and ice game tiles sets. I'll get more pics up as I get more done. They are all done with dept store paints and they look great!

Regarding the custom paint, those are nice...but...I'd much rather see stretch goals and add-ons be new pieces than custom colors. I paint regularly so have no issue doing the custom paint schemes myself. I do not however own any type of custom PVC molds so I would have a much more difficult time getting ahold of new pieces than I would doing my own paint jobs!

I agree with cletusk82... While it would probably be easier for DF to add new paint jobs than new pieces, it's also much easier for us to do so! If alternate paint jobs are part of the KS, great, but I hope that won't come at the expense of more and different pieces.

There's also the question of whether the factory will split one minimum order into multiple paint jobs, or if they would require the minimum order for each paint job.
