@Nielsene My bad. It is actually 268 pounds, not 238 pounds, with 7 boxes. All 66 of the sets are painted (30 painted standard sets with stretch goals and 36 addons painted).

@Fizzikx Is the total shipment weight for your 10 sets and 20 addons then 345 lbs or is it instead 115lbs? If it is the former, then I know for certain that my shipment cannot contain all of the 66 sets that I ordered.

115x3 according to FedEx... I'm a bit scared

If I look up mine via the master tracking number, I get a status page that shows at the bottom:

Total shipment weight 223 lbs / 101.2 kgs
Weight 37 lbs
Total pieces 6

Given that a single set is about 5 pounds, and I'd guess about 4 extra pounds for stretch goals. So that's 9*15 = 135 pounds. I'd guess less than 5 pounds per addon on average, call it 4 - 80. Call it 10 pounds for 3 paint sets. My estimate would come in at about 225 so that's VERY close to the reported weight. (Course need to add on the weight of the boxes and the weight of the plastic packaging, however I think I feel fairly confident that 223 pounds and 6 boxes is my entire order.

Given that each of my boxes is between 37 and 38 pounds, I'd suspect Fixxkix's are being reported by FedEx incorrectly. Three boxes, each in the 37-38) pund range would be 111-114, so that matches.

2/3rd of my sets & addons are painted, 1/3 are not. Painted should be heavier on average, but not sure if that would make a noticeable difference at the quantities we're talking about.

I think Sorn probably only has half his shipment accounted for.

Don't worry Fizzikz, the forum is full of folks who will help you carry the load. I could relieve some of your burdens. I wouldn't want you to feel weighed down ;)

My shipping info from FedEx showed no info for a lot of the fields until I got an e-mail saying it was already on the front porch... I was a bit nervous, my neighborhood has a pack of teenage hooligans. They're not terribly bad, but they do occasionally engage in minor vandalism and a couple cars had been busted into for change and CDs. I do actually do my yard work with hand tools mostly though. They always seem very uncomfortable when they see me outside. Maybe its the scythe I use to cut back some of the greenery?

The package was safe when I arrived back home! I have checked it over and everything but one small pack in one box of stretch goal bits is present. I will e-mail Jeff about it tomorrow. There really is no rush and I am sure there is a deluge of correspondence and minor issues for them to wade through. All in all I think the execution for this has been phenomenal so far given the scale difference compared to previous work they have done.

I eagerly await the full info on further orders, I think I will have a better idea of which bits I will want here soon...

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

I don't know about you folks but I am now mighty interested in what Sorn and nielsene are going to build with all of those sets!
Surely an epic build is forthcoming.

BTW, I doubt seriously that shipping has anything to do with when you placed your kickstarter pledge. I know for a fact that mine was pledge #3. Still no word on shipment, and I am in California. But it will be here soon enough, I trust Stefan and Jeff on this.

Hmmm that actually backs up my theory a tiny bit. If the first orders pledged were the first orders processed overseas, they could be the last orders shipped.

I'm pretty sure that orders were placed in shipping containers in the order they were packed. This means that if yours was the first order manufactured and packed - it will be one of the last orders unloaded from the container.
This would explain why orders are randomly arriving while other orders are delayed (sometimes in the same neighborhood).

@Fizzikx, I think you said your boxes arrived, was it 3x115 pounds or 3 boxes totalling 115 pounds?

Got home today to find that my sets arrived. 5 sets plus add ons, so two boxes. I still haven't received a shipping notice though.
