Finally, peace for my aching wallet 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Oh thank gods, it's finally over and I can stop slowly ratcheting up my purchase total with moar addons!

I finally came in at 220% of my original budget. And the crazy thing is, while I have grand schemes churning in my noggin I don't currently DM any games...

How'd everyone else do?

I started out with just two painted sets. Ended with two painted sets and eight add-ons.

Started with 5 painted sets....

Ended up with 10 painted sets, 5 unpainted, boatloads of add-ons...
and 21 MasterMaze sets in the past couple of weeks.

Glad I can wait for the rest and wait for the restock

nielsene is making me feel MUCH less guilty...

I spent the first half of the Kickstarter debating whether to get two sets... in the end i pledged for 3 sets and four add ons - started playing with the map maker and the first thing i designed used more parts than i had!

just today i changed to 5 sets and four add ons (all painted)

wish i could have got more, but i already spent WAY more than i can admit to my family... Daddy, why are we having beans again?

I started with two unpainted sets.

Went up to 20 unpainted sets with 10 addons by the end of the kickstarter.

I wound up switching to 25 unpainted sets with 12 addons in the end.

I went with the unpainted sets as well (Like I need something else to paint)

I kept looking at 2 sets for the first week then went to 5 knowing I would end up with 19 sets and some add-on's...

Finally ended up with 10 unpainted sets, 2 Dungeon Decor, 1 Floors and a Castle Wall set.

At the moment I am sculpting up some parts to add to the basic walls to give a bit more flavor to the process and flush out the basics. I know I want to add some statues, torches, brazers, fire pits, water basins, wall arches, fountains and even a privy.... I figure October/November at best to get the prizes of our affection so I have time to make things and have ready when they get here..... In the mean time I ordered the ruins set of DF site the other day and just got the email that is shipped....YEAH!

Started with 2 sets unpainted. Then decided to go 5 painted and 2 painted add ons... Once the survey got here. I decided to go unpainted, got 5 unpainted sets and 8 add ons. Wouldve bumped to 10 sets unpainted but was $25 short in my initial kickstarter pledge. (lucky me, I would have still wanted add ons with that.)

Hello my name is tom ...

I started with 5 unpainted sets 6 weeks ago. $260 - that was ok and very reasonable.

at the end of the kickstarter I had 10 unpainted sets and 12 addons.

I am now at 15 unpainted and 16 addons

I traded for 33 sets and bought another 10 direct from the online store.

something in the vicinity of 2.2k peices of DF scenery is about to invade my house...

lets just say that the value of the DF collection is much, much higher than my initial pledge for $260.

the sad part is my list for Gencon is already upto 7 kits.

At least I know why I am losing every Ebay auction! There is a lot of competition for these. Right now is a great time to sell old DF resin sets.

Yep, I have lost every auction I bid on. Tried to get a few sets to add to the stuff I have bought in the KS.

Started off saying "I'll get 3 unpainted sets."

Wound up getting 5 unpainted sets, one of every addon, and a second add on of the floor pack.

Then, I went to eBay.

Sorry, guys, I'm probably one of the guys who you have been bidding against.

2 Room and Passages Set
1 Wicked Additions 1
1 Wicked Additions 2
1 Advanced Builder

Grand total: Over $1100 during a time when I wasn't budgeting for it.

/me shrugs. I may not have money, but I have a good start on my DF collection.

Now, I'm just waiting for restocks, and the next DF KS. :)
