Looking really good, though I do have to say I'm disappointed by the ditching of the skull piles...mostly because I don't currently have any in my collection. Either way, I'll be pledging after the weekend, count me in for a Dungeon Dressing Pack regardless!

I hate to sound a negative note -- and it's a small, minor nitpick in an otherwise unending sea of praise -- but I admit, I'm a little disappointed that the secret door appears to be identical to the classic Master Maze secret door.

The same could be said of the bed, tables, benches, and a few other elements -- BUT the secret door is distinctive in how well it blends in with its surrounding walls. Except -- now -- it doesn't! The kickstarter wall design is not the traditional Master Maze flagstone, but the secret door retains that old design. It takes a little bit away from it's special kick (no pun intended).

Ah well. Minor nit, as I said.

DF said they used an old MM secret door as a stand-in for the photos. The new Games Tiles one will blend seamlessly with other Game Tiles walls.

Law,
the secret door shown is a stand in, it is being re-sculpted but we did not have enough time to wait and show it when finished....it will preobably be finished after the Kickstarter is done...we did not anticipate making all these new and re-sculpts...the table and chairs etc, had to be from old sculpts in order to release them on time...it's mainly for our new collectors, so we hoped that it would be better than not having any for them...sorry! i am sure if you buy into the dungeon dressing set you will be ale to trade out stuff with others? hard to please everybody in this mad rush:)When we absolutely have to use old sculpts we are trying to change them a bit or at least re-sculpt the floors and walls to match the Game Tiles...

Thank you Stefan for redoing the secret door sculpt. I thought you would redo it, I just did not want to speak for you.

I think your product selection for the kickstarter has been excellent! I wish I was 10- years old and starting with this stuff. If I had been using this stuff since childhood, Game Tiles would be the thing I would still keep using forever. Although I might repaint them every ten years or so!

As for the reuse of the table sculpts I don't mind. I have lots of your tables already. I can use the new extras to glue down items on the table and have pre-made themes; Feasts, ale rooms, treasure, guard rooms, etc.

Oh! I did not see that note about the secret door being resculpted! AWESOME! My bad!

And -- Stefan, don't worry about the re-released accessories. It makes a ton of sense for you guys to conserve resources where you can. The whole point of this kickstarter is to raise awareness about DF and bring in new customers. The accessories you guys have done have been specTACUlar! It makes sense to assemble a little "highlight reel" of what DF offers for newbies. And old-timers like me have a choice: we can either order the set and have a few repeat items (and beds and tables and chairs are useful in large numbers!) or we can simply skip this particular add-on and get either a different one or more basic sets. So it works out really well.

I didn't mind the idea of reissued pieces generally, I just hoped the secret door would still work as a "secret" door -- and it will! Plus, I think that with the new wall design, the secret door could look cooler than ever.
