TOPIC: Are we expecting a series of new painting videos?

Re:Are we expecting a series of new painting videos? 2 Months ago
as always, for the last 18 years I have always presented a picture of MY painted prototype....then the factory matches it with my approval...the factory pieces look great I assure you...

Nate is right about the pictures..they were taken under different lighting....in many pictures and videos you have seen the variety in the paint jobs is always slightly different as each piece was HAND painted by different bushwick hipsters I grabbed from my neighborhood....part of the charm is those subtle differences....

as always, If you get your cavern pieces and are not satisfied with them send them in for a refund no questions asked....as always I stand by my products 100%

I try my very hardest that's all I can do, if it ends up not being good enough or If i get worn out by it all I'll go back to being an artist and Dungeon master and work on my world and live a simple life...I have enough money to live comfortably and retire for good even now....I still do this because I enjoy it and want to make fellow gamers happy, and I must admit, I am caught up in the excitement of the old school renaissance as well...it's fun...I meet awesome folks all the time...it's your enthusiasm that keeps me going most of all....I am proud of my paints, my brushes, my pieces, my lizard men, my devil newts, my ice, and my customer service:)

I will not take money from anyone who is unhappy or I won't sleep well:)

Thanks as always, can't wait for November, we are still on track!

So, at this point 50% of the paint colors in the original Funfafull offered "Cavern Paint Pack" aren't on the recommended list for painting any of the Cavern tiles at all anymore? Well then.

Base Gray (used nowhere)
Earth Stone
Olive Dry Brush (nada)
Cavern Stone Dry Brush

Any chance we could get those $30 in pledge funds released up so we can just buy whatever colors we want a la carte at this point? I've already got most of my Dungeon tiles painted with other colors at this point, so the Base Grey and Olive Dry Brush are not useful.

I'm sure you can make this right.

Stefan, I know you really do care about your customers. Don't fret. :)

If I don't like the paint jobs, I'll deal with it or re-paint them. I'm pretty sure they'll be fine; I'm just hoping they don't "blend in" with my Game Tiles pieces, that's all.

Loving the tutorial photos!

Just a quick question: "water bubble blue" is the light blue shade? I'm getting prepainted caverns, but that blue might be nice to use with Pokorny white on the Dwarven-ice Ice Cavern pieces, right?

I would say the fact that they somewhat resemble the tiles KS is sort of a good thing from my perspective. Mine I am sure won't look like either one when I am done with them no matter how much I try! Yeah, lighting does make a big difference also. I happen to like both looks myself and am not disappointed in the least! Keep them tiles rollin'!

Any idea what porkony paints would best suit ice caves? Going from the base caves not the new clear ones? I'm thinking the bubble blue and the white? Would that be subtle enough?

Stephan, your dedication and work ethic is why I have always supported you to the best of my ability. While I am sure others can afford to back more than I my few coppers are all I have to give.

I used the theme from this KS (but not the paints) for my ice game tiles: www.kickstarter.com/projects/klingbeil/game-decors-paintworks-terrainpaint?ref=nav_search

So, I have my paints from the first kickstarter (Base gray, olive dry brush, stone edge drybrush, and earth stone). I added the recommended "Cavern Stone Drybrush" to the Caverns kickstarter.

I ordered a bunch of different caverns pieces, water tiles, and mushrooms (no lava for me).

So, are the colors I should order:
school bus
cardboard
moss green
water bubbles blue
shallow water seaweed green
deep water green

Would I be missing anything at that point?

I think you're good. I ordered the same thing, only threw in a white since I ordered ice caverns too.

I didn't order any lava pieces, but I hope to add to the volcano I made years ago by making some. I even have yellow, red, orange and black hot glue. It makes for some nice effects.
