Earthstone and Cavern dry brush..stone edge drybrush would be optional for some, although I like it....also if you want to get the color of the pools that are here and there in the cavern pieces and the yellow molds you might want to get that colour...moss green is for the stone near the water pieces but could very well be used also for other pieces if you like a slightly mossy look....many of the other colours like cardboard are used for the mushrooms....but cardboard color is one I personally find very useful for all sorts of miniature painting...the other colours like reds and yellows are great primary colours that one can use for mixing other colours, shades....we use very high quality artist grade paint with lots of pigment so it will hold up very well mixed with other paints...with these colours you will have a great palette with good range to be able top mix any subtle colors you need to make...the easy to pour spouts are of the highest quality so you wont be frustrated (as I have often been) with paint drying out or not being able to even open your jars...or spilling like half your tiny bottle of paint when you pour it out....manufacturers of paint rely on us to waste our extremely expensive paints so we can go and buy more...the quality is also very low with most miniature paint company's...and so, I am offering top quality paints in top quality bottles for rock bottom prices...hopefully the reputation will get around...I have always believed that if you offer something of good quality it will eventually sell well...and if it doesn't, well, you can still hold your head up:)
I want to thank everyone for their continuing patronage and totally understand if the budget does not allow but I felt it was important to make the colours available to those who wanted them even if we make no money or even lose a bit because it increases the overall value of our products....because we offer unpainted pieces now, we felt it was only right to offer brushes and paints as well to support them, and that such adventures should be of the highest quality as usual:)

I really do appreciate the offer of the line of paints. Even if I have yet to buy any. A certain KS's paints just arrived so I have tons of paint and little to actually paint. I did show off a bit of my DF painting on anotehr thread.

I will be visiting the states in spring of 2015 so I will be looking to do an order to hand-carry back here to Japan. There might well be paints in that.

I bought the 4 paint set a few months ago to paint my KS1 dungeon tiles. I found them a good quality paint as compared to most craft paints and comparable to some miniature paints. It covers well and dry brushes easily. For the price, I could not beat it. So when Stephan released new paints I went for 10 new paints. I intend to do some of my own water tiles with the 4 water and perhaps some lava tiles as well with them. The Bustop and Cardboard appeared to be good base colors to fill in certain areas especially for painting the lizardmen. Will have to see what greens are best for them. Got a bottle of white and cavern dry brush also.

I look forward to all the new sets coming. Is it November yet?

I wanted to buy paints this time and I did the first time, but I already have so many paints, I just couldn't justify getting any more. Here is most of my paint collection.

Alarian, you are far too organized for that much paint. You need to send half of it my way as I only have half as much<G>! Seriously, nice collection and painting station! Mine are in tubs and boxes unfortunately:(

Quick question from a Dwarven Forge newbie. Does anyone know if the paints will be available in November for those who did not get in on the caverns kickstarter? I'm starting to save up some funds now, although it may be tough to do given the imminent resin restock......

Yes, the paints and hopefully the Ice Caverns, if there are any left, will be in the DF store in Nov.

Does anyone know of any archived painting tutorials for the master maze line? I'd love to get my GameTile matching the dungeon, cavern, and ice caverns from the original series.

The Master Maze is all hand painted so painting tutorials were not necessary.
