Building a tower 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
Anyone have any advice on how to build a multi level tower? I looking at running a tower encounter for my campaign and wanted the PCs to be trying to advance up the tower and defeat monsters on their way to the top

Are you asking about stacking, multi-level stands, or putting multiple floors of a tower beside each other on the table?

I prefer to put multiple levels on the table. Depending on the footprint of the tower and the size of the table I would put as many levels on the table as I could, covered with a cloth or pieces of cardboard, and reveal them as the party progresses.

Or, you could put each level on a piece of plywood, and swap them out as needed.

If the levels of the tower all have similar floor plans and minimal accessories, you could probably get away with having two levels set up beside each other, and alternate between them. You might add a third level, just in case the party splits up.

For the best playability, I suggest you build your tower in separate floors as Jackattack suggests.
