Once you have done caverns in Dwarvenite and if you do sewers as your third highly successful Dwarvenite KS. Would you ever think of doing a Greek/Roman building/ruins Dwarvenite KS? Since Realm of the Ancients is a limited edition set in resin I do not know if you would do it in Dwarvenite. But I would love to have a enough ancient building parts to do massive ruins in Dwarvenite filled will classic monsters of antiquity, or use the ancient Dwarvenite as temples to the deities, or having the ancient ruins be a lost underground city.

I think most of the resin sets would sell like hot cakes if put in Dwarvenite.

I think the upcoming Sewer Set will be in resin (link). I have otherwise a hard time imagining how such venture could be profitable in PVC/Dwarvenite.

Biowizard is probably right although I would make the case that DF has increased their customer base vastly due to the current project. Perhaps sewers will sell better than one might think. I bet tons more orders will fly out of the site come November as well. I'm anxious to see how well caverns goes. I know it will go well but I'm hoping there's an explosion of sales for these guys, enough to consider doing more specialized sets in dwarvenite

I imagine it being far more profitable as a dwarvenite KS.

I do not see much that could not be done in dwarvenite from this link

But it is up to Stefan in the end. He knows best

IMHO, after the Dwarvenite caverns the next priority should probably be passages and other missing accessories to match the current game tiles. I'd also consider the medieval building pieces to be more likely to see use (and therefore generate more kickstarter interest) than sewers or other sets with a specialized theme.

I want Dwarvenite passages and other missing accessories to match the current game tiles also, but that does not sound like a great name for a KS. ;)

I also agree that building pieces are a little more useful than sewers but there are already medieval building pieces on the market so perhaps sewers are new and new is very very good for a KS.

I know I am very pro-Dwarvenite, so understand that when anyone reads my posts.

Others are very pro-resin, so I understand that when I read their posts.

Either way DF needs to do what is best for DF in the long run.

Cool as Dwarvenite sewers would be, I'd agree that Medieval Buildings would make the most business sense following Caverns & Passages. Planned carefully, Medieval Buildings could be extended to cover something like what PSOM has for barns as well. If you could plan a whole town with the base sets, stretch goals, and add-ons, I'm sure that would pull in new customers.

OK Null

How about Buildings for Dwarvenite KS 3

And Dwarvenite sewers for KS 4

Then we could have Dwarvenite city/sewer/dungeon/cavern adventures :)

Just to clarify, I'm not "pro-resin", as I don't own any resin sets, and I don't plan to buy any unless by some miracle their price gets halved. I'd just like to fill out my Dwarvenite collection with more useful pieces.

Personally I hope that a "Passages" Dwarvenite Kickstarter can be put together next, but the barrier there is that it would mostly only appeal to current game tile owners, and going by the Kickstarter rules they can't include the game tiles they've already manufactured as rewards. They might be able to run it in conjunction with a sale on the game tiles at their store, though, which would probably help.

Anyway, I still think passages or the MBS are a better bet than Dwarvenite sewers, but I understand that opinions on that may vary.

Heh, those towns are going to need better sanitation eventually. ;-)

Sounds like Stefan plans to drop sewers for set three in dwarvenite. I have to say that at this rate DF kickstarters are going to become a cornerstone of my financial planning!

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

If the Caverns Dwarvenite Kickstarter makes it to 3 million they could do a add-on that had more to do with the first KS. Narrow passages/Passages add-on, it would give people with the first KS items incentive to jump in to the second KS even if they did not want lots of caverns and would give people who missed the first KS incentive to buy from the web store.
