The future after Kickstarter.... 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Are we going to see some restocking of the old sets? I really can't wait to get my hands on some of the other stuff like Wicked Additions and Caverns to go with my Dungeon Tiles. I am hooked...

Jeff has stated that some of the funds from this Kickstarter will be used to restock current resin sets. The big problem for DF has been that the sets are extremely expensive, and funds limited, so if they ordered a ton of one set that didn't sell, they'd have all their money sitting in dead stock. So this influx of funds up front should help solve that.

We don't yet have any details on stocks or time tables yet, but I think it'll all work out. :)

Yes, it will be back. Caverns and Catacombs both return in August (because I asked.) I would imagine some other things as well, those containers are expensive to get across the ocean!

Once they come into stock be prepared to buy. Especially cavernous lakes and rivers!

I would say they would be restocking mid/late summer. With Gen Con in mid-August I'm sure they need that stock on-hand to sell at the show.

I wonder if they will have any of the Dwarvenite stuff at Gen Con this year. If not to sell, then at least to view and covet.

I think Sci Fi is a prime candidate for another kickstarter.

If the interest is there, the KS will succeed, and the Sci Fi line can be resurrected in Dwarvenite.

If not, no real harm done.

I asked Stefan about the GenCon presence and Jeff was kind enough to confirm that they will have a sampling of the new pieces there for people to see. I am super excited as this will be my first trip back to GenCon in years, so I get to enjoy the con and see the new pieces in person a couple months ahead of schedule!

I am very stoked about getting into DF collecting finally, this KS is the perfect gateway to get me started. Buying one set at a time wouldn't let me really utilize the potential of the terrain in sessions, but now I can add one set here and there as I can to this wonderful base set I will have. I just wish I could afford to do more sets than I'm in for!

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

i agree the only DF things i ever had were the wicked additions 2 set and the passages set and while they are cool i cant REALLY do much with them by themselves except use them to represent where ppl were when an encounter happened....but NOW that ive got 10 sets plus the free stretch goals on the way im super excited about the dungeons i can finally build now all i need is some o them sweet cavern sets
