Would you like to Game with Zaltar and Shadox? 1 Year, 8 Months ago
Hello All,

If you have been reading this thread a few of us talked about pulling together for a chance to game with Stefan. I have pledged that level as of this morning. My wife will pledge a lower level to get the number of unpainted sets I want. If you would like to be a part of this group please contact me at
dm "underscore" horn "at" hotmail "dot" com

Please only serious replies. I have some ideas for dividing the "loot" Even an idea that we can send to the boys at DF privately that would really be a cool request for them and us. If I do not get enough critical mass in a week or two, I will remove my pledge at this level to give another group a chance to game with Stefan. Just so everyone knows there are 8 7 seats remaining.

-Shadox

Jeff and Stefan,

If you think this is inappropriate I will remove this post.

This idea, as you might say, rocks the free world!

I will give this some serious thought. So that I can look into flight costs, do you have any rough idea when you would prefer to go?

I would really really love to join in. The 1/8th 'fee' is not an issue. In fact. Seems 'Amazing Value' !!
It is purely the logistics and cost of me taking a 'Selfish 1 week holiday' all for myself....
Getting my good self to the wonderful NYC at a time that works out for everyone.

Unless I can talk my better half into this and it is later on in the year (I am talking October / November) then I will have to regrettably say.... probably not. :(

What date are you looking for Shadox/Stefan to have the gaming session? If you can't give a date can you give a month?

Quick Update: I have had a couple of folks contact me through email and on the forum here. I am working on a few different ideas. However, I would like to address the biggest question, when would we do it. The rules say we have to do it by December. December is cold. I do not like cold. :-) At the same time I do not want to try to logistically get around everyone's vacation season in the summer. Nor do I want to hurry anyone to force them to buy flights only a month or so out from now and not have good flight prices and scheduling with the other half. So I would suggest end of August through Early November. I woudl not want to narrow it down any further until I know I will have critical mass and we talk to everyone about loot and travel schedules.

Questions for Stefan:

What days a week can we play at TuTu's?
What days a week can you DM?
Why is the sky blue?

Because of the Tyndall Effect, more commonly known as Rayleigh Scattering.

Sunday is the best day for this event and i have an OK for it from Tutu's but also Tuesday is OK...I have no objection in doing it later than December if that's when it needs to be...Zaltar abides...

Shadox

Can you give us a head count of how many are in for sure and how many are considering? Or in other words, how many spots are still available?

Thanks

OK Shadox,I see you active but I do not know the best way of contacting you. Strike that, just read your initial post again (DoH!)

This sky looks blue because the wavelength of light that refracts that is most prevalent translates as "blue" to most human retina.

I would prefer Saturday as it is the most customizable day in my life, but I can make provisions for Sunday if necessary. It just makes the ride home to PA a bit long after a full day of gaming.
