Dandare, you look like you just stepped out of The Game of Thrones! I love it, great look.
And Shadox' idea has merit!

For that piece of Armour - Game of Thrones was exactly the remit I gave the armorer!

I wanted to know as a DM how heavy Chain mail was to wear v's to carry.... So I bought some!

+I will have to talk to my better half to see if I can 'splurge' on myself for a trip to NYC..

I have already pledged but have also got the "ok" from the wife for a weekend in "The City" so would be happy to pledge again.

For those of you who have not had a chance to game with Stefan... I have... It is Great! It reminded me of the first group I had. We all got together, role played our characters, did not use player knowledge, and used the rules as I believe they were meant to be used, a guideline so everyone can agree on what happens when the dice roll.

That's awesome!

So, how heavy is it?

@shaddox - that is what I crave in a game! My group is close, but still not there.

@Harneloot - I feel your pain. My current group is so far from that.

This is a great idea! If you (or any other forum regulars) have serious interest in splitting the Grand Master Patron pledge I'd join in a heartbeat. I've already pledged, so my interest lies in the opportunity to meet and game with fellow DF addicts and the artist himself.

Hello All,

Here is a link to an article that was done a few months ago about Zaltar.

I will re-weigh it this weekend to give you exacts. But as I recall it is circa 30 to 35 pounds in weight. Mine is made of steel. (I could not afford 'riveted' and so have to sit down with pliers if any links get damaged or open up too much!)
It certainly weighs enough that it is certainly easier to wear than carry.

Note - I am 6 foot 7" tall and this is a XXXXL Half sleeve mail shirt. This would weigh less in a smaller size. But I would say that chain mail is very 'forgiving' with +/- 1 size either way.

Cool - thanks for the reply! Interesting that that figure is very close to the weight given in the pathfinder book for a chain shirt (25lbs)
