And here's a bizarre add-on idea: Dwarvenite *miniatures bases*

I don't think it's surprising to expect your customers want to match their bases to the terrain the miniatures will be in. So I requested Stefan to make a video of how to paint miniatures bases to match the Dwarvenite game tiles.

Then I realized, why can't DF make miniatures bases that *match* their game tiles? (:

Oh, and I'd like one that accommodates slotted miniatures. I so do not want to learn how to pin!

Ced1106 an alternative to pinning is to use super glue in conjunction with super glue activator. That will instantly set and harden the glue. Works great. Army Painter and Games Workshop both have activator spray.

Disclaimer!
We (Games Workshop) don't have super glue activator. I found out that it works, too if you use super glue on one part and PVA glue on the other. Has a very similar effect as activator.

Congrats on reaching the $400k mark.

I notice the KS image has changed and revealed a whole new stretch target:

'Diagonal set':
ON DECK! > $550,000 = Diagonal Wall Set Unlocked as Add-On! When we hit $550,000 in funding, this set consisting of Diagonal Walls and Diagonal Half Floors will be unlocked as a purchasable Add-On set. Exact price and composition will be revealed in a few days.

More diagonals are a good thing.

More diagonal walls is great, but I'm under the impression that KS isn't able to handle pledges for a mix of painted and unpainted sets (the second pledge just goes towards more of the sets specified in the first pledge). How is it going to handle an add-on stretch goal for a third type of tiles?

Or did I miss an answer about pledging for both painted and unpainted tiles? Cos I might be able to scrape together a little more cash if I look under the sofa cushions...

We will update our KS page about over-pledging to get more than one Reward Level...but go ahead now if you wish. There is even a handy online calculator to help figure out your final pledge.

www.niagaragamers.net/index.php/dwarven-forge-ks-pledge-calculator

Just figure out what you want, over pledge that amount, and at the end of the campaign we will send out a survey to get everyone's final order details.

Very easy to use:

Very satisfying to know just how many pieces I will get. Plus, Look how long that calculates to!

Thanks for the calculator!

I've asked a bunch for all this, just repeating it here.

My request for future stretch goals:
Rounded walls. I think that'd pretty much cover the basics with the diagonals.

My request for Add Ons:
Straight, 90 degree turn, T intersection corridors.

I know the added expense and the difficulty with the molds for corridors, but I can't see there being a better time to cover the cost of getting these pieces off the ground and it would totally fit into the concept of covering the basics. I would add at least the amount I'm saving on the unpainted tiles to go towards them.

I can't take credit, but someone posted this on the Kickstarter, and I thought I'd pass it along:

What about a single Kickstarter-exclusive piece that was just a 2x2 floor piece with the Dwarven Forge and/or Game Tiles logo on it?

I know that most people would think it was a cool collector piece, and it wouldn't require a new mold. I, for one, would be totally on board for that.

The next FREE stretch goal is gonna be a unique new piece:)

This was posted on the Kickstarter page, for those who didn't see. Looks like Stefan and Jeff are going bold and getting us another new piece to add to the set.

Let the rampant speculation BEGIN!

I heard (probably from the voices in my head) that it's going to be a catapult. You put a player's mini on it, spin a little dial, and if they fail the trap, it flings their character across the dungeon (and/or off the table to their doom, figuring 1d6 falling damage per 2" height...).

I'm going to guess and say either stairs or a rounded corner. All the pieces so far are similar to ones found in the basic Dungeon sets and all are very necessary/useful.

My guess is it would be the rounded corner, but I'm hoping for stairs.
